Strong and effective
Was relatively easy to apply. Sometimes difficult to remove the backer (would be nice if it had a middle “split” like some brands have). Also can stick a bit too well, so be careful what you use it on. Cat HATES it, so he will go elsewhere (he is a kitten, and I am training him to a large sisal scratching post, but he is a bit hard-headed). I bought this brand because it was the best value (cost vs. length).

Wish I’d found this stuff earlier
I have 4 cats. 2 of them are vertical scratches and their favorite scratching material is wood. They have tried to destroy the bannister that goes around the basement stairs. Someone told me about this stuff and it is amazing. It sticks to any surface, even cloth, and it’s virtually invisible. Doesn’t tear anything up when you’re ready to remove it and best of all, it really works. It has deterred my cats from scratching everywhere I’ve put it. I highly recommend it.

Works well – hard to peel off backing
Thickness is perfect, and itâs easy to peel off the roll and apply. It was pretty difficult to then peel the backing off, it took a while with each piece. The roll will last a while. Itâs been an immediate deterrent against my cats scratching our couch. I can definitely see having to reapply it some what frequently as it looses its stickiness as things get on it.

Would buy again
Bought this for the carpet in doorways & furniture. We had a new cat who was sharpening its claws on the carpet seams & sides of the chairs. This tape is the perfect solution. We taped the edges of the carpet as well as the edges of the furniture. It adhered well to the floor & furniture but was still easy to remove when necessary. It didnât leave any residue & the cat wasnât able to tear it up.

Very effective but poses a risk
I have two Siberian kittens and I used this tape to secure few furniture items. They worked perfectly until yesterday one of my kittens tail got stuck to the tape. We tried to get the tail out but in that process a substantial bunch of hair came off and the scared cat bit me in the hand too. My poor kitten is still recovering from that shocking incident and remains anxious. Hopefully he will recover soon!

Wish I had this years ago!
My cat would always claw at the sliding door to get out at night, and has completely destroyed our wood door. I wish I had known about this tape much sooner! We applied it and he tried it once, now he doesnât even try to get out because he doesnât like the way it feels. So quick and simple to apply, and highly effective.

Great double sided tape!
This is actually a surprisingly high quality and large roll of double sided tape. It’s super sticky and I can’t stand touching it by accident.Unfortunately, our cats stopped caring about it after the first day and just walk all over it now lol
