Powerful quality neem oil
This is my 1st ever purchase of neem oil. I am amazed and happy with this product for these:1. Its opaque glass bottle, which is way healthier than a plastic one.2. Its pure oily content, not diluted.3. Its cosmetic properties; I have added a few drops to my shampoo bottle and found my hair to be much softer. The bottle says it can be applied directly to clean hair and skin. I have not dared to do so yet due to its strong odor.4. Its medicinal properties: I had some red itchy spots on my arms since summer, which would not go away. I used a couple of neem oil drops on them twice a day (in the morning and before bed), and on the 3rd day, no skin irritations any more. I then stopped using the oil and today (2 weeks later) still no problem. Completely treated! What I still find hard to like about neem oil is its super strong unpleasant odor. But I understand that is the natural odor of a genuine pure neem oil product. So I can not fault this product for this.My solutions to cover the odor for daily skin use:1. Use it before a long morning walk. Let fresh air and wind help reduce that smell.2. Use it with some scented lotion or skin oil. Now, I hope to find a quality flower-based skin oil with a strong sweet fragrance, to use with my neem oil. Thanks for reading my review. ^_^

It smells but works great
I originally bought it to make a natural bug repellent for my dog. But there was so much left afterwards I started to use them on my face at night. Personally I donât mind the smell and the quality is great, but my husband would not come near me if I have it on. I would recommend it if you donât mind the smell.

Good Neem Oil, but Strong Smell
I recently tried the Kate Blanc Cosmetics Neem Oil for Skin, Hair & Face on my dog, and while it works well, there are a few things to note:Pros:Effective: The neem oil is effective for various uses. I applied it to my dog’s skin and coat, and it helped with itching and overall skin health.Versatile: Itâs great to have a product that can be used for skin, hair, face, and even on plants. Itâs truly multipurpose.Natural Ingredients: Knowing itâs made from natural ingredients gives me peace of mind that itâs safe for my dog and for other uses.Moisturizing: The oil is quite moisturizing and beneficial for dry skin and hair, promoting a healthy scalp and hair growth.Cons:Strong Smell: The smell is quite strong and pungent. While this is common with neem oil, it can be a bit overwhelming, especially when used on pets.Overall, the Kate Blanc Cosmetics Neem Oil is a good product with many benefits, but be prepared for its strong smell. If you can get past the scent, itâs a highly effective and versatile oil.

I think it works
I mostly use this on my plants and recently in a hair and skin oil concoction. Yes there’s a smell, for my hair product the essential oils mask it. It didn’t bother me. And, I don’t think my plants mind the smell at all. It works great on my plants so far. A little goes a long way.

I’ve bought this before and I’ll buy it again
The first time I bought Neem oil, I didn’t know what I was looking for and I got a brand that either sold it to me rancid or something because it smelled like gasoline. I got it again from Kate Blanc Cosmetics here and while garlic isn’t exactly a pleasant smell, it’s bouquet is far more palatable when compared to what I’d bought the first time. This is the second time I’ve bought from Kate Blanc regarding neem oil and it does everything it’s supposed to. It’s a great natural bug repellent, every time I wear neem in the summer, I get bit by mosquitoes and flies less and additionally it helps with my issues with dandruff as well as also preventing fungal issues with my houseplants soil.

Stinks!
I originally got this as a contraceptive as I’ve heard it’s a great spermicide. However, it really messes with the woman’s PH levels and does not act lubricating at all so we couldn’t use it that way – it ruined all our natural lubrication down there. They say you can use it by putting it on your cervix before and after but the delivery system of that was… well… this stuff smells bad. So it was ruining the mood, not setting it. In that respect, it was highly effective lol at stopping the good mood from ever happening! We tried the pills too (neem oil pills) but none of it was really for us… I gave it to my mom to use on her plants.

Stinky,potent, magical stuff!
So this is incredibly putrid and potent but that is the nature of neem and this is so beneficial for your skin and hair. I use it on my hair and skin. Immediately the smoothness of my skin tone and the evident moisturizing benefits are noticeable. The ease of application can be tricky just because of the goopiness but again that is the neem in its natural state and I am at the age where I will take health benefits over the judgments of others so get stinky!

Awful smell, impossible to get out. Helps dandruff
Iâll probably stick to tea tree oil after trying this. A friend of mine who suggested I try neem oil for dandruff also did a smell test (lol) and told me it smells nothing like neem. I donât know about that as itâs my first experience with neem oil, but I do know itâs impossible to get out of your hair. The horrible smell will follow you around for a while. It smells like a mushroomy forest and rotting coffee grounds in one, very musty and strong. I didnât mind while using it, but after washing my hair twice, adding conditioner and a ACV rinse, still smelling it in my hair⦠it was awful. I had to put my hair up the whole next day to avoid smelling it, and after washing my hair 2 more times it almost went away. (After a total of 4 washes, the smell was mostly gone). I would like a refund or to return it, as I will never use this again. Although, I must say, it did make my scalp feel good and helped a lot with dandruff. But itâs not worth it. Also, I am not sure if it was caused by the oil or the efforts of getting the smell of it out, but my hair has been feeling very tangled ever since I used it and almost unmanageable and Iâve not had that problem so severely in a long time.

The quality is great, the strong smell means Iâm getting cold pressed neem oil which is what I need. Currently using it for skin and toe fungus. This product is well packaged and comes with a drop tool help with less messy when putting on the oil. Highly recommend.
