Pleasant heating therapy pack for sore neck.
My doctor recommended I put heat on my sore neck. I found this. It heats up in the microwave. The scent is soothing and it is very comfortable.Just the right size and weight whole watching tv or computer work.

It gets to just the right degree of coldness; much better and easier to use than ice packs!
It helps my shoulder a lot. It gets good and cold but not so frosty that I need a towel between it and my shoulder. Also, it retains sufficient cold that I can leave it on my shoulder for a half hour, or more. Before I put it in the freezer, I place it flat in a large ziplock bag to prevent any possible frost developing on any moisture there might be in the pack. Naturally, I remove it from the bag before using. (I live in Arizona, so any moisture will evaporate pretty quickly, I imagine.)At first I thought it too floppy, but I have learned how to place it just right when I am sitting in an armchair and when I am lying down.I haven’t notice any lavender scent, but maybe that only comes out with heat. I am not using it as a heating pad, though, because I want to have it ready to use anytime I need a cold pack. As long as my electric heating pads are convenient, I probably won’t get a second rice pack.

It has a lovely lavender scent. Prefer rice over jel.
Couldn’t wait to use it. In the microwave no more than 2 minutes for hot.

Cooling pack
Does not keep cold for long even coming out of freezer. Good for small babies and toddlers. Not to cold for the little ones.
Heidi Bohlen –
My daughter loves hers and that is why I got it.
Very soothing!

It works well
It works well for what it is intended for. It is not meant to replace medication and/or doctor intervention, but it helps fix the problem. The smell is not to our liking but it might be ok for others. We like it so much that we both a second one.
