Surprised he likes it!
Our main concern was that he may not like it due to the taste of the ingredients, but he did! Because if he didn’t bother to smell it or even come close to it-it would be all futile. We still had dog food left over in his bowl from the morning, which he has not eaten. I first placed it in a spoon to see if he would be curious – he smelled and nibbled. I then sprinkled it on his dog food. He ate some of it. He’s picky and sometimes eats when he is only hungry. He still has good, mostly white teeth, as I try to brush his teeth every night. With this in his food, it will only help even more in preventing future teeth issues if the claims of the product are true with continued use. I also found the elusive white spoon!…(hint: it’s not inside the bag).

My dog loves this stuff!
My 8 year old German Shepherd has had dental problems for the last few years, and she refuses to let me brush her teeth. We can’t keep rag bones because my Golden Retriever claims all toys as her own, and she destroys everything. We tried the water additive, and it worked, but after a couple years, they raised the price so much that it became unaffordable. Her teeth got bad again, and we ended up spending almost $700 at the vet 3 months ago getting her teeth cleaned. There hasn’t been any improvement, and they’re actually the worst they’ve ever been.I decided to try this dental powder, and this is the best deal I’ve found by far. I was afraid powder would go everywhere when I got the seal open, but it was a pleasant surprise to find that the powder is sealed inside an airtight bag. I like that the scoop has a long handle too.I’m happy to report that she loves the flavor. She’s so cute when she’s watching me put it in her food, and she tries to stick her tongue out to catch some as it goes in her bowl. It’s been 1 week of getting 3 scoops a day, and it’s already starting to help. Once she’s had significant improvement, I’ll add a before and after picture to my review.I absolutely recommend this product, and I plan to keep buying it for my sweet girl.

Still trying to get the cat to like it
My cat is so… finicky. And he has terrible breath, in addition to dental concerns brought up by the vet. She gave us a toothbrush for him, to the horror of Kitty and myself. The Hongyee pet dental powder looked like a good option–no brushing required! The contents come in a well sealed bag inside of a small tub. The scoop is tiny, but one scoop is way too big a serving for the cat. The powder smells more earthy than herbaceous, and Kitty and I both tried a little taste, which was not too bad. Don’t judge. I’m not giving up my own oral hygiene for this powder, but without much direction or information about the product on the packaging or Amazon description, I’m going to test it on myself before giving it to my cat. Encouraged by the mild flavor and Kitty’s lack of opinion, I sprinkled some on his dry food. He was game to try it (bottomless pit appetite), but his enthusiasm rapidly declined. The kibble, now coated in what looked like green Cheeto dust, remained in the bowl for a full day, even hardening to the dish. I threw out the food and scrubbed off the green residue, then tried a fresh bowl with a fraction of a scoop. Kitty conservatively nibbled on his powdered food throughout the day. His dragon breath is so much better, but I’m not sure the powder is a good choice for him, unless it helps him lose weight. I might try adding some water and disguising it with wet food, but this cat is not easily fooled. I’ll update the review if Kitty returns a more positive verdict.

Potentially nutritious powder for digestive health, NO company information, testing, or transparency
This pet breath powder helps by treating gut issues. Everything in this is natural ingredients to help with digestion in humans, so I assume it works well in animals, too. The main ingredients are brown algae (rich in vitamins and trace minerals), seaweed, pea sprouts, and papain (which is the main digestive extract from pineapple). Other ingredients include B1 (thiamine), xylo-oligosaccharide (prebiotic), saccharomyces cerevisiae (brewer’s yeast), and bactillus subtilis (probiotic bacteria). The only difficult part is getting pets to eat the powder. It has a very strong green smell and my dog turned his nose up immediately. Hiding in it peanut butter paste worked great. Cats I’m sure will have more issues. A gram is not much, but force feeding presents its own issues. If you force powder into their mouth, you risk exhaling it everywhere or aspiration. Either one is not good. So at least mix a bit of water to make a paste then smear it on the roof of their mouth and their lick it away and swallow. The packaging is the best I’ve seen. A jar with a full seal with a sealed mylar bag inside for freshness. This makes it convenient and protected. I love it!The only thing I don’t love about this is the lack of manufacturing information: no address, no contact, no country of origin. Scouring the internet for the Hongyee brand brings NO information either… meaning no way to verify the validity of anything in this jar, no product testing, no certifications, nothing. Whether you trust the information on the product label is up to you, but I had to knock 2 stars off. It could be a great product. There could be trace poisons in it. We don’t know!

dental powder
This powder is a vibrant green, arrived securely sealed, and with clear ingredients and dosing information. As a pet owner, I’m not convinced that these types of dental powders are a complete substitute for tooth brushing, but might make a bit of a difference. It’s a large jar and will last 3 months at the large dog dosage (longer for smaller dogs). My only quibble with this product is the lack of thread party testing or quality assurance, but that is an issue across the market for pet supplements.I didn’t have any trouble with my dog eating this powder. I sprinkled it on his kibble with other powdered supplements and added water. However, I notice that unlike some comparable products, this doesn’t appear to contain any flavoring, which may make it harder to give to a picky pup.

This dental care powder is easy to hide in my dogs food – you simply sprinkle some over their food and mix it in and it’s like it isnt even there. I have been using it diligently and think it is making an improvement in my dogs breath. Hopefully long term it improves overall oral health too.

I often add dental supplements like this to my dogs’ food to help maintain their teeth and general oral health. You can also use this dental powder for cats. The container indicates that this dental powder contains ingredients such as probiotics, green tea, and brown algae. However, it doesn’t provide a full list of ingredients – this isn’t a deal breaker for me, but it would have been nice.My dogs had no issues with having this dental powder on their food. A scoop is included, but it was buried really deep in the powder, so it was hard to find and created a bit of a mess.

This is so etching my dog is loving. I put it in his food, and he is super happy. The powder does seem to help with his teeth some. I wouldn’t replace brushing, however this is a nice addition to his oral health.

This dog teeth powder arrived quickly and was well packaged. I couldnât locate anywhere on the packaging where it was made. Iâve been using another brand of tooth powder with my dog for a while and I was surprised how different this product is. The scoop is much bigger (at least 2x bigger) and the power is much finer. Also though the packages are similar volume this product comes with less weight. All these together give me some challenges with this product compared to a brand I already trust. On the positive side my dog is happy to eat the powder once Iâve tossed his kibbles in it. We had no tummy challenges either.
Vine Review –
This powder works wonders in reducing plaque and tartar buildup. The inclusion of probiotics is a huge bonus. Not only does it help with dental care, but it also supports my dogâs overall oral health, making it a comprehensive solution. It has really helped in combating bad breath, and I feel better knowing that itâs promoting good bacteria in his mouth.
