The meat was sweet, god value for cost and the quality is good did not have any shells or weird smell. Would buy again to make crab cakes ! Delish!

It just wasn’t good.
Very disappointing. It tasted and smelled terrible. I’m pretty sure it wasn’t spoiled, but just doesn’t taste good. It’s canned, but disguised in a plastic container. I threw away the crab dip I used it for. Won’t buy it again.

Growing up in Maryland makes for very picky crab lovers, which is why we were pleasantly surprised by the tasty crabmeat from Ocean Legacy. It’s not fishy-smelling nor does it have unpronounceable ingredients. It’s pricey for only 8 oz. but is a good substitute until crab season peaks back east where we get hand-picked jumbo lump delivered to our door.

Spoiled and Whole Foods did not let me return it
I would stay away from this product. Smelled bad – for too made me think of the GOT episode with the fermented crab!
