    Easy game to learn
I bought this game in hopes to help me play strategy games better. It is a fun one. Its an easy game. My husband and I really had fun playing with this one. Add more people instead of two player and it gets harder but in a good way.

    An instant classic!
This game is wonderful. As soon as we were into our third round I knew this was a keeper. Has a perfect amount of strategy and complexity for our tastes. Multipurpose cards are interesting and make for some nice gameplay choices. Component quality is very good and the art is lovely.

    Great intro game
This is a great deck builder game. Use cards to get gems turn gems into artifacts. Artifacts turn into victory points. Easy to teach and learn, fun to play.

These Stones Are Worth Your Dollars!
Fairly simple to learn, lots of choices. Plays well at various player counts. Colorful. One of the better Queen games.

    Started my board game obsession
I love this game, and am totally happy playing it by myself if others are busy! It’s actually really easy to play and learn because there’s just three main stages that you have to do in order. The components are gorgeous and so is all the detail put into the game. I do wish there was a better insert because this is the worst one that I’ve ever seen, but I bought another insert to take care of the issue. I also love the gender equality because there’s both dark and light options with male and female characters (which is not always the case in board games).

    Great game, horrible storage
The game itself is just fine, deck build hands of cards, gather resources, trade resources for stuff, use stuff to get other stuff and then victory points…. rinse and repeat. My issue, is upon opening this game, its “storage” solution for all the cardboard chits, tiles, everything, is an X shaped cardboard divider laying in the box… no baggies. And I was told it’s due to Queen Games trying to be “environmentally friendly” yet there are multiple advertisment cards that are not needed, 2 useless cards that simply say “Deck 1 of 2” and “Deck 2 of 2” as well as 2 full size rule books in multiple languages that is completely unneccesary. So, I bought some Plastic containers, threw away the dividers and stored it that way, but what a shame I had to do that when some simple, little baggies could have worked just fine.Again, the game itself is fine, good family weight game, easy iconography and easy to play, but be prepared to figure out your own storage solution.

    Low quality
The game play is decent. My only complaint is that I expected better quality pieces for a board game at this price. You have to apply stickers to each side of the scoring markers and the die which is a minor thing, however with the game we received, the icons on each sticker were not centered. That really bugs me. It just doesn’t look good. There is also a cardboard throne that you have to assemble and the pieces don’t really slide in/connect well. It’s super wobbly and easily falls apart. It’s not a huge deal because you don’t need the throne to play the game, it’s just for looks. Overall the game is fun. I just think it’s overpriced. It’s a $30 game with a $50 price tag.
