Best dog toy I have ever bought
Every dog should have one of these! All of mine LOVE this toy. If you have chewers they will eventually get into it but it’s worth it for the fun they have. Just purchased like my 7th one lol but they do last a long time- unlike other toys. I have Pitbull’s and German Shepherds for reference.

My dog is OBSESSED!
This is my dogs absolute favorite toy. This is the second one I have purchased for her. She finally managed to wear the first one out after several years of heavy use. The egg is designed so they can’t pick it up in their mouth. My dog entertains herself for hours by pushing the egg around with her nose and chasing it. She also attempts to grab it with her front paws, which is quite comical. She contorts her front legs into an arm-like position, and almost cradles the egg. The relentless look of determination on her face is priceless. She also launches it between her hind legs like a football. I love this egg as much as she does, because it keeps her busy for hours, and she gets tons of exercise chasing it around. I learned early on that this egg had to be an outdoor toy, because she plays too rough indoors, bashing into everything in her path. On one occasion, she ran into the wall and cut her nose. However, she has a blast outside, where there is plenty of open space.She loves this toy so much, that I literally have to hide the egg out of her sight, or she will continuously whine and cry, begging me to give it to her. If she witnesses me placing it in a cabinet or closet, she scratches and paws at the door, begging me to retrieve her precious egg. If I leave it outside, and spots it through the window, she cries, looking back and forth between me and the egg, desperately hoping that I will let her outside to play with it. She is OBSESSED! ðððThe egg is very sturdy. She had her first jolly egg for at least three years. After many rough play ssessions, she managed to poke a hole in it with her tooth. She was thrilled when ahe could finally carry it around. However, she begin chewing on it and eventually the entire side was gone . The plastic also became a rough texture that attracted dirt. I washed it many times, but the dirt was so ground in and stained, I could no longer get it clean.one.My dog is a 55 lb mintiature English Bull Terrier. When I ordered the replacement, I thought I was ordering the same size as her original egg. However, I ordered large rather than medium. She enjoys the large egg just as much as she appreciated the medium one.

Holds up with rough play
My dog is obsessed with her egg. She plays with it every day. Itâs her favorite outdoor toy. Keeps her very busy.

Dog couldn’t chew on it….
Large enough GSDs couldn’t chew it flat, sadly that means it’s a ‘kick only’ toy. My dogs don’t seem to be into soccer so this has sat unused for months. That said, there’s nothing wrong with the quality though if you buy the smaller ones the plastic wont live long if your dog’s a chewer.

Used to be the best toy
Dear Sir/MadamI’m not usually one to write to manufacturers of products but felt I needed to this time.Several years ago our daughter purchased your Large Jolly egg for her bulldog. That egg has been a source of extreme joy and excitement since purchase. The endless play of trying to catch that egg has been awesome. Her dog still enjoys his egg today.When we found ourselves with a new dog, also bulldog breed, we knew what we needed for her and purchased the LG Jolly Egg. That Egg has been the very best toy we have ever had for a dog..and we’ve had several dogs and hundreds of toys. For 18 mths she has had the Egg once a day in an enclosed yard with our supervision. We stay to watch for 2 reasons;It’s absolutely hilarious watching her chase it around the entire yard, yapping and yipping with excitement. And also because she completely exhausts herself and being a bulldog, won’t give up until we hide it away for the day.We now have the egg in Florida with us (we’re Canadian snowbirds). The dog park is perfect for her egg play. People in the park gather just to watch her with the egg. We have probably sold several Egg toys for you with our rave reviews! A couple weeks ago, she finally caught it into a corner and punctured it with her tooth. Being such great quality, the egg is of course still awesome but now she can grab it and carry it around. We immediately decided to order another one since her joy..and ours…comes from the herding, no catch aspect.The new egg arrived quickly. We took it to the park. Within 10 minutes she had punctured and dented the ball.The reason I’m writing is because I’m so disappointed that you have taken such an excellent product and quite obviously made the new ones with less or thinner plastic. Your blog states your dedication to quality and wanting the best products for pets.What a disappointment to see that the new Eggs are definitely not anywhere near the quality of the previous ones. I don’t know when you decided to thin the plastic but my second egg is thinner and lighter than the original and thinner than our daughters product from years ago. The plastic even feels cheaper.Now, I’m regretting my excellent reviews to everyone who sees us with the egg, as they will not have the same great experience as we did before.I realize companies are always trying to make the most profit but in my opinion you have really ruined a great thing. I’m including 2 pictures. The most loved egg which lasted 18 mths without dents or punctures and the new Egg which lasted 10min.I would love to hear your explanation before I review the product more publicly.What a shame the product has changed.*NOTE* the company has never responded

I recently got the Jolly Pets Jolly Egg Dog Toy, 8 Inches for my pup, and she absolutely loves it. It keeps her entertained and engaged for hours.
