Indispensible item in caring for a bedbound person
I own 3 of these now and rotate them under my bedbound loved one. We use a chux pad toward the lower half and position the handles on this pad between her shoulders and hips.It works perfectly to use in turning her on her side and sliding her up in bed. Also it is strong enough to use as a transfer pad.Washes up in the machine and dries nicely hung up. The patient does not sweat with this between them and the mattress. Strong and sturdy-high quality material and craftsmanship. Worth every penney.This item has been a blessing.

Outstanding for repositioning up and down on the bed
This pad is highly recommended for caretakers who have to reposition their client up or down on the bed. Two very sturdy handles on each end. I bought a second one so that when one needs to be washed there is a ready replacement.I use this pad along with the pad protector with handles on the side (for sideways repositioning); I find this other pad has better maneuverability than this two-handled pad. The two-handled pad is on the bottom; the other on top of it. Together they allow for easy repositioning up, down, side, side.If used by itself, use a large disposable bed pad over this pad to reduce wash times. They wash well; fold the pad, cloth side out, to get best results. Remember when drying, one side is plastic. Also fold the cloth side out when drying.

Does what it’s advertised to do.
This item helped move my bed ridden gramma but would annoyingly get bunched up due to the design of the mat. It’s designed with a open space between the top and bottom surfaces of the mat and this causes it to”roll”…making it impossible to get straightened out once the patient is on it. I work at a hospital and none of our transfer mats have such an issue. Also, I don’t know why but something in the listing made me think I was supposed to receive 3 items so I was a bit confused when I received the one. In all honesty, I may have gone for a different mat if I had known the price was for a single mat.Any nitpicking aside, the product serves its purpose and allows you to move a patient that can not move them selves.

Great for positioning bedridden people
This works well on beds not only as a mattress protector but also the handles are very secure and allow for repositioning whether side to side or up into bed. It definitely is a nice assist for a patient who is total care. it washes very well too and is easy to adjust under the patient to prevent bunching up and increasing pressure points.

The Perfect Pull Sheet!
Bought this for use as a “pull sheet” and it works great! Mom weighs about 120 pounds and not difficult to pull. I fold this sheet in half, place it across the bed and the sheet has handles on each side of the bed. Its marketed as an absorbant pad, I guess like a reusable chuck pad. Well that just works great for us too! Accidents in bed are generally not a problem, if we have one, the pad is washable and is supposed to survive close to 100 washes. I know I read that somewhere. As I said, if you are not dealing with accidents in the bed, this pad will last for a very long time as the perfect pull sheet!

Definitely does its job of helping with transferring. The handles on this are sewn on good as far as I can tell. The top of the sheet is soft. It has helped me with moving my father who some days have a hard time moving. It doesn’t slide, so its great that it stays in place. My father who is bed ridden had an accident and it definitely soaked through. It isn’t waterproof. Would of been 5 stars if it was waterproof.
