Great to cover and protect CGM sites!
I use them all the time for my CGM sites to keep them clean and protected from all outside problems. They work equally as well for insulin pump sites. Buy them if you have problems with your sites staying attached. For some reason Iâve always had trouble with keeping bandages or any kind of device to stay attached and these are a blessing for me. I love them.

Works as Advertised
This is really good stuff. It stays on when the injured area is exposed to water. It can be difficult to work with especially in the beginning. I have trouble will nails breaking really far back and I cover them with this to prevent the nail from snagging and ripping off.

Hard to work with.
I recently got a G7 sensor for blood sugar. The first one I put on got knocked off. I got this in an effort to protect it. It mostly did what I wanted, but as it was under my arm and rubbing against my body, it peeled up. I have had to replace it several time over the last couple of days. It is very thin and hard to work with alone, but it works. If you have someone to help, it would not be a problem.

Cut with razor!
Nice to be able to cut the length you need but cut it with a razor. If you use scissors it bimds the ends up so thst when removing the outer film it pulls on the ends loosing your seal.

I do not like this stuff. It’s too thin.
I couldn’t get it to work.I’m sure if I spend some time with it, it’ll work.My hands are very handicapped.I would not recommend this product if your hands are impaired. It’s too thin and filmy. It’s not even as thick as Saran. Wrap, so watch out it folds back on itself.I do not recommend this product. It also did not stick.

Soft and not scratchy
I love it. It covers a drainage catheter perfect. I use the 2×2 gauze and this is so soft and it doesn’t irritate my skin or poke me like tape does. So far there’s no irritation. It’s so nice and soft and stretchy in sticks well and removes easy. I can cut any size I want and use it for anything I want. I don’t have to worry about wasting it if I just need to cover a small thing or a big thing. It’s so nice. I wish everybody knew about this stuff in the beginning when they first get a drainage catheter. It’s a lot better than the pre-cut window dressings. Whoever admitted it thank you very much

these work great!
Perfect for making a waterproof seal over a gauze bandage or for sealing down another bandage. Easy to apply, too!

Not sure
Iâm not sure how I feel about the waterproof ability of this. I had my great toe amputated and as it was healing I tried to use this so I could go swimming. I think if you were covering a flat spot it would probably work. The place I tried to use it was right up against my second toe so it didnât get a good seal. I think t has at was the oroblem.

A bit thin to work with but once you get the hang of it, you realized how good they are. Great alternative to those regular bandages that keep coming off. This stays on well.

We were excited to get this product. Perfect size at a great price. My wife uses these to cover a medical patch so she can shower and use the hot tub without losing the patch. Some of the medical patches have to stay on for three days, some for a week. You need to cover them to shower, bath, swim or use a hot tub â¦.if you donât, you will lose the medical patch! Ordered these because Hypafix transparent was not available in the 4 inch size. Howeverâ¦.after wearing this in the hot tub , woke up during the night with a wet burning pain where the patch was. The skin was red and blistered and one side actually was bleeding and weeping serum! The burning itch was so bad! My wife has been using Hypafix for a couple of years with no issues so this was totally unexpected. No idea why this happenedâ¦allergy or chemical burn??There is no packaging to state what company make these or where. Another unrelated issue was that it says 50 pieces, the description says you will receive 50. Confusing. However, we are writing the review because the âburnâ is quite bad and is taking a long time to heal. Buy a Brand Name! Not these! One star for prompt delivery!

They do exactly what they are supposed to do!
Lin, Sechelt –
This product is very awkward to use. Takes several tries to get the knack for peeling the cover off without scrunching up the actual bandage. Does the job once it is on.

The first one that I tried to put on, I peeled the white backing off before applying it to my skin.Mistake! The clear film got wrinkled and stuck on itself before I could get it on my skin. The correct way to do it is to peel a tiny bit of the white backing away, place the film (with white backing still on) on your skin, and then peel the white backing off while smoothing the film onto your skin.Once that’s done, then remove the top protective cover (the one with grid and the blue border).I put one of these dressings on my shin and ran it under water for 30 seconds. After 30 seconds, I peeled off the film and my skin underneath was 100% dry.It doesn’t hurt a single bit to remove from your skin. The adhesion is good, but the edges tend to curl up if you drag clothing over the edge. Because of this, I deducted one star.Otherwise, a good product if you need to keep an area of skin protected or dry during showers.
