This product is adequate, but I’d opt for a wider belt so the pressure is not so concentrated.

Good product, too narrow
I like the gait belt. The hand grips are a terrific idea. The belt is far too narrow to assist a large person. It should be at least two inches for better management and support. This is the only reason I did not give a five star. It is helpful during certain exercises to keep the limbs together. For a stroke victim this is an ideal piece of equipment.

Do not buy a gait belt with plastic buckle
My first bad review from any product from Amazon….this item lasted one time before the plastic buckle snapped. Luckily my 88 year old dad didn’t get hurt.
