I used it tonight on my relatively long haired Shorkie pup (Shih-tzu/Yorkie). Worked great. Took all of what little loose hair she has off without hurting her skin. Recommended!

Awesome pet brush!
I LOVE this brush! I recently adopted a Doggo after the death of my beloved girl, and this new girl has long fur!I’ve never had a dog with long fur & didn’t have a clue about what brushes to buy/use. I bought one with the brush tips âuntippedâ and it didn’t seem right so looking around found this brush to replace my 30 yrs old dog brush (cracking in half so old) and I love this brush, and so does my dog!It’s easy to use & clean. It removes small mats. It gives a nice brush for the dog & smoothing the hair down.I also have a mat rake for the thick fur, I used that even on my shorthair dog during shed time to remove the undercoat that was falling out, during the shedding season.LOVE this brush! It’s exactly what I need & was looking for! Easy to clean too!

Nice smooth and fluff brush, but not easiest to clean.
Over all, my dog seems to like the brush. Well the feel of it anyway. He especially likes me brushing his chest and tail with it. He’s got a long, super thick, triple coat. Though you can’t tell how long or thick it is, because of how it lays on him. This dog is a pain to bathe and when he swims, his under layer and skin does not get wet. His skin stays completely dry, except his head and belly area. He’s part duck, I swear. So he requires more brushing to help his skin and coat, stay clean. Although I dont get much hair off of him with this particular brush, that’s not why I bought it. I bought it as a finishing brush, to hopefully smooth out and fluff his outer coat. He needs at least 3 different brushes to get the job done, though he doesn’t have the patience to let you do it all at once. My only displeasure with this brush, is cleaning it out. With how close the bristles are, his long hair doesn’t like to come out. I need some kind of cleaning tool, that won’t ruin the bristles or the protective rubber tips. Lol. I’ve found it helps to use toothpicks to clean it.

A miracle. Gentle on cat’s skin. Easily breaks up small clumps of fur on my elderly cat.
My 19-year-old cat has short, thick, gorgeous fur and kept it beautiful most of his life. He rarely shed until he was about 13 and his coat, though it has an undercoat, never matted. I suspect arthritis has led to him recently give up grooming anywhere by his face, paws, and under his tail. He never liked being brushed, so using a wire brush has not been easy but became necessary. His fur started to develop little clumps that were dirty and full of dander and I was considering a sure-to-be traumatic trip to a groomer. Luckily I found this rubber brush. It is like a miracle. It’s amazing how much hair it releases, even through the small clumps. He won’t sit for a complete session, but a lot of good can be done in a few minutes. He will purr and groom himself while I brush him, so I know he loves it. His coat is becoming clean, soft, and lustrous again. The brush is a bit messy to work with as the fur doesn’t clump on the bristles like a wire brush. The fur must be gathered up on the cat or the surface where he lays. In all, it takes a bit of gentleness and patience but is wonderful for my cat who needs some special help in his old age. I hope it works for your pet, too.

Surprising Effective!!
When I received the brush I had my doubts about whether it was really going to be all that effective- the rubber bristles don’t look like they’d grab too much hair. So I have to say that when I first used it during my dog’s bath I was impressed by the amount of hair it got off my beagle mix dog (almost twice what normally comes off when I just wash by hand). The brush was a bit heavier than I expected & a bit awkward to hold at first since it doesn’t come with a strap or anything to hold the brush in your hand- you just hold onto the sides (there is a hole though where it looks like you could thread a cord to make a wrist strap if desired, but that’s not included). Also like any other brush, it’s not super easy to remove all the hair from the brush. The bristles are spaced far enough apart that it’s not impossible to clean, but it will likely take some time. Still overall I think this will make a difference in managing my dog’s shedding.

I brought my dog to a self serve bath since I can no longer lift him in the tub. It was our first time going there and I didnât have a bath brush for him. Since he was already in the tub I used a brush from the store. I didnât care for the idea of sharing a brush but I did. He loved it. I have all kinds of brushes at home for him and he doesnât like any of them, not even for brushing. Well I purchased this brush in hopes he would like it. He does love it, he actually lays there and lets me brush him all over. I like the brush too, itâs very solid, great feel in the hand, you donât need a handle for it to keep a hold of it. The sides have raised bumps for extra grip. Nice color too. The fact that my dog loved it too was proof it was the perfect choice. You wonât be sorry you got one. Highly recommend.

DO NOT BUY! Defective product!
This is the SECOND time I purchased this brush for my dog (who has HAIR, not fur, not thick coat – yorki) and this brush broke on the FIRST use in the SAME place – the top edge of the brush just broke off! Clearly a manufacturing defect. The first one I thought well maybe it was me maybe I dropped it and it had cracked or something. But when this second one broke in the SAME EXACT PLACE then it was clear that it’s a manufacturing defect. Junk and waste of money. DON’T BUY!

This is The best brush by far I’ve tried everyone for my dog and this one came highly recommended for my groomer. Because Emma is a short haired dog it’s hard to find one that doesn’t hurt her skin when you’re trying to brush her and this brush she loves. She feels like she’s getting a massage at the same time.
