Did not like this.
Even after being mixed with the appropriate amount of water it was super sour, and not really usuable for eating the way you would fresh yogurt. OK for baking (sub for buttermilk), but maybe dilute to account for the extra sourness.

Has odd aftertaste; doesn’t work like fresh in baking
I had high hopes for this powder based on other reviews. I planned to use it in baking. I tried out the recipe in corn muffins. Usually the addition of yogurt improves muffin height and texture. I added the powder as directed on the package then water to dry ingredients per the proper volume. The batter seemed thinner and the baked muffins were rather flat (see photo on left using product v. photo on right with fresh yogurt). Both my husband and I could detect an odd aftertaste with the product in batter and finished baked goods. Disappointed that few others noted this. The aftertaste is strong enough, and the absence of beneficial effect sadly, is such that we won’t buy this product again. It’s a great idea, if you can work out the kinks.

Good luck trying to mask this powder. You are going to need a lot of seasonings for savory applications or a pound of sugar for your sweet tooth.

Purchased this for a backpacking trip, tried it plain and mixed with granola, not edible. Unfortunately Iâm past my return window. Would give 0 stars.
