Very nice!
This came in looking like it was already seasoned. I purchased it to use in my little Piezano Pizza over when I want to cook something from the top and bottom simultaneously. I just put some aluminum foil down on the Pizza stone then turn the oven on and get it good and hot. I then put some oil on the skillet and put my chicken or whatever it is I want to cook on the skillet. I shut the lid and it works beautifully. Stuff cooks quickly since the heat comes from top and bottom. Great way to cook steaks without have to turn them at all. Just crank up the piezano, let the skillet get good and hot, add some oil and the steak and Presto! I needed a cast iron skillet without handles to fit in the Piezano and this fit the bill. I ordered the 8.5″ and the 11″. It’s a game changer. Just remember to place some aluminum foil under the skillet to keep the juices from splattering on the stone.

Round cast iron griddle with rubberwood trivet (Hevea, para). Exactly as advertised. High quality cast iron too, very nice. Ordered 11 inch, it is 11 inch outside diameter. Cooking surface 10 3/8 inches. Inner diameter edge to edge at top 10 5/8 inch diameter. Lip height, 3/4 inch. Comes with an accessory handle, detachable key style.Arrived unseasoned, which is much appreciated, thank you. Seasons up nicely. I just used canola oil for the initial season. This is beautiful cast iron.11 inch model fits in a Breville BOV800 toaster oven with a little over an inch to spare front to back, or a tad over 1/2 inch on each side if centered. The larger size iron at 11.8 inch will fit in the BOV800 too.Good for stove, oven, grill or open fire pit with coals.It’s conveniently portable. Easy to pack up, with a low profile. Its not bulky. With a low edge and no permanently attached handles, it’s less heavy than most cast iron at this diameter. Just wrap it in a couple dish towels, or muslin cloth or bags, and take it along for the road trip excursion.

Casting is a bit rough, but it works ok.
Bought this to oven bake some garlic butter shrimp for the wife. It’s perfect for oven to table service. Pull right out, throw pan in wood liner and put right on table. It’s about perfect for an individual serving size which is why I bought this model. Also plan to use for fajita server for the same reasons. The casting isn’t great, but most mass produced cast iron isn’t these days.. I’m planning to put my random orbital with some 120grit on it and then re-season. That should help. There is one pretty big pit that’s deep enough I can’t sand it out so will have to fight that as a potential bacterial magnet, but some hot soapy water will fix that.. Oh.. you don’t use soap on your cast iron? little bit here and there, then re-season and it’ll be ok.

Works well in pizza oven.
I use this in an electric pizza oven instead of the ceramic plate that came with it. Heated up with the pizza oven, then sliding the pizza onto it when up to temperature. The edges help center the pizza when sliding it into the oven. Seems to be good quality and works well for that purpose. Wood holder is nice, but don’t really use it with the pan.

Got me a cast iron!
Love it. Fits in the toaster oven perfectly. Read some reviews that say they are having trouble with sticking… Rub some salt and oil in the pan and then remove it before cooking and it will help seal the pores. Have fun!

A little expensive for the quality
It’s not the best quality, but it is acceptable. In the first picture, some of the cast iron imperfections can be seen. The rim is also uneven, so the tool can only attach at certain parts where the edge is thin enough. The second picture shows me holding it by the tool. The wood liner has portions that are ‘rough cut’ so despite being sanded and stained, there are bumpy parts without stain. Ultimately I wanted a round, handleless cast iron griddle between 11.5 and 12 inches to fit into the insert opening in my Stok grill, and this is the only one I can find, so I will keep it. Otherwise, if I had more flexibility for the size, I would return it and look for one that is better quality (or at a lower price).

I like these for my Ooni oven for making deep dish pizza the only cast iron pan that fit the 16# Ooni. Happy with this purchase and come almost non stick.
