A little expensive, but worth it if you’re looking for ways to hit your macros.
I’m not this mega fitness buff by any stretch, but after having a bit of a health scare back in August, I decided to take fitness a bit more seriously so I didn’t have to take medications for the rest of my life, or worse, keel over. Morbid, I know, but true. I hired a dietician and started going to the gym, and one of the things that we talked about is how to lose weight without losing muscle mass, and the answer is protein. The problem is that finding protein to hit the numbers I needed to hit for my weight was difficult. It is even more difficult when you want a variety of things without getting bored of eating the same stuff. Then I found the Kodiak brand of oatmeal. My normal breakfast was eggs of some kind, but as I looked to expand my breakfast options, I literally searched “breakfast protein” and found this. I was skeptical, because after experiencing how bland other protein items were (looking at you, Quest cookies), I didn’t want to shove liquid chalk down my face. To my surprise, however, this was anything but.I tried a few of the different flavors, but I definitely leaned most heavily into the chocolate. Calorie wise, it’s their highest option, but it’s hands down the best flavor of the bunch. I loved the way it tasted, and almost felt like I was eating that high sugar version of Quaker Oats without the high sugar. I paired it with unsweetened oat milk, and it was a very nice way to switch up the breakfast routine. It mixes well and cooks well, with no clumping or weird aftertaste. I tend to eat my oatmeals warm/hot, so microwaving it didn’t take away from it one bit.Very satisfied with the product as a whole, but be warned, without more variety of options, this one can get quite expensive quickly if this is all you’re choosing to eat.

Better than regular oatmeal!
My mom had gotten some from Costco and told me to try a pack. My brother and I both did and we both ended up buying some. Costco wasn’t selling it anymore so I got it on Amazon. It’s really good and I like that it has added protein because it fills me up more than the regular stuff. And it tastes good too! Would love if it was at Costco again!

Cheaper at local stores
Good quality product and good flavor. I started buying this because my doctor said I needed to increase my protein and recomended Kodiak. However, I found them much less expensive at several local grocerier stores after I purchased these through Amazon.

A little pricey.
Kokiak is a little pricey, but the flavor is good. I just wished they made a multi-flavor pack for the Kodiak Peak oatmeal packets.

The oats to not seem to cook completely
The oats don’t cook completely. Taste just ok. Will not buy again.

Initially had problems with this product, but found out the secret.
For some reason, I could never cook this right. I either cooked it and it come out really hard or it foamed up and became really soft. I found out that I had to mix it with a regular Quaker’s oatmeal to get my desired texture, usually in a 1-1 pack ratio. The flavor is great, and the amount of protein is a major plus. I’ve been trying to figure out how to get more protein into my diet, and found that this product existed. I’m only giving this a 4/5 because of my own incompetence.
