LED Reflective Vest Running Gear, USB Rechargeable LED Light Up Vest High Visibility with Adjustable Waist/Shoulde

Very bright and lasts a long time on a charge.
I just left a similar review on the LED dog collar I purchased at the same time. These were both great purchases.I walk or jog with my dog every morning. We go early so it is dark during the winter months. We are mostly on the sidewalk, but we do cross the street and on some quiet streets jog on the road itself. We both have reflective vests but those only reflect light, i.e. ONLY if you are in the headlights. A car at an intersection about to pull forward will not always see us….even if we are nearly in front of them. Seemed smart to buy LED gear for both of us.This LED vest has been great for me. it has 2 separate LED’s, each controlled separately. I have noticed bicyclists have flashing LEDs on the back, so I do the same….setting the LED on the back to flashing. It is very noticeable from far away. On the front, I select constant ON. The vest can be worn with either LED in front or back, it is not really directional per se. You just pull it on. I didn’t even adjust mine, just pulled it on.My dog and I walk or jog daily 20 to 40 minutes. I have had to charge this vest 1 time after 2 weeks use, which is great. It gets gradually dimmer when it needs a charge. Simple to charge. The LED light pulls out of the pocket of the vest to make access to the USB plug easy. It comes with charging cord. It does not come with the USB wall charger, but I have a lot of those around the house, as well as several outlets with USB chargers built in (very handy if you are considering getting one). Anyway, the only downside is the charging indicator is pretty tiny and difficult to see. Whatever, not a deal killer. You pull 1 LED out, charge it, then repeat with the other. Simple. I don’t recall how long they charged, I really didn’t pay attention. I hooked them up, let them charge, came back later, they were done.In terms of visibility, we purchased these originally because I had seen other early morning walkers with LED gear on and I saw them far away. Seems logical they see me now. And I have had several instances recently where a car clearly sees us as their driving behavior changes…either they are braking early before an intersection, moving over or otherwise, indicating they are seeing us far earlier than before we purchased this gear. This was a very inexpensive, easy to use, non-intrusive means of increasing my safety and my dog’s safety. Glad we purchased this LED vest, and my dog’s LED collar.

Good LED Light
Got the LED vest and wore it on my walk today. The adjustable straps allow a good fit. The lights were operational out of the package but I charged them before I wore it. The cord and rechargeable piece that inserts into the LED light is hard to insert. Maybe it will loosen a bit after some recharging. Also, there is little to no instructions in the package. I had to refer back to the Amazon.com listing to see all of the features including how the straps pull apart for ease of putting on. Will see how long the battery lasts and the vest overall. Got at a good price so not a lot of money invested in this replacement vest for one that I had for one year and stopped working.

Less battery life than advertised
On the Amazon page this product says the lights last longer than 24 hours on a single charge yet the flier than came with this package says the working time is 5-8 hrs.

These things are BRIGHT even without being turned on.
For anyone who lives in a place that spends half the year outside of work hours in darkness these are a must. They make walks feel so much safer, and are comfortable to wear. The band is adjustable so it fits over my giant winter coat as well as over just a tank top in summer.

We do multiple walks a day, and during the winter months 2 or 3 of them are in the dark. In the fall, 1 or two. So I wanted something more than just the little clip-on lights I had been attaching to my clothing for our walks. I’m not sure how many hours or walks these last once charged because the walks vary, but even if they get weak on a walk, there is still the reflective coating to give me extra visibilty. If I said they lasted a week I might be in the right ballpark though. Charging does not take very long – but I walk away so I’m not sure if it’s an hour or two, and I have the two charging simultaneously as the package comes with two USB connectors. They are waterproof as well, so whether it’s a rainy day or not, I’m covered. And overall, it’s pretty important for me to have that security as I was within inches of being clipped by a driver who must have been looking at a cell phone when we were more than half-way across an intersection that we had the right of way on, and I was waving at them as we passed in front to make sure they saw us. I would highly recommend this.
