Texture extremely off-putting
I’ve been trying to find a kid friendly fish oil supplement for my super picky eating 11yo kid who has ADHD. The flavor on these is mild and pleasant, but the texture is really off-putting. It’s not like a traditional gummy chew. They are blister packed individually and a little greasy to the touch. They have a smooth texture to the outer part of the gummy. The best I can describe it is like it’s a baked, shiny custard texture. It’s really weird. If you have a texture sensitive kid, these might not work for ya.

I have trusted this brand for my prenatal DHA and decided to try it as my 3 year old toddler’s DHA supplement. What also mainly sold be on this was that it’s sugar free. My (picky) toddler ended up accepting it and looks forward to it after her meals.Pros:- clean and tested ingredients. Trusted brand.- zero sugar- my kid has no qualms about the texture and flavor and she’s picky- looks easy to chew and swallow- health benefit of omega 3 supplement (for brain development) if your child doesn’t eat enough of it from seafood regularly- good size. Read the update below!So, I loved the ingredients and quality, however two things stand out to me. Firstly, they are not NSF, USP, or Consumer Labs certified/approved, and they do not display their third party testing results or agency. Secondly, and more importantly because even if the first thing were not enough of a deterrent considering there arenât any other comparable choices available, the taste is awful. I noticed when I peeled the packaging off the gummies, they were extremely wet feeling and oily. That is to be expected I suppose, but the kids, 3 and 5, detested them! The 3 year old which is far less picky spat it out after chewing it for a minute. They arenât a good option for us. If your children find them pleasant enough, then they are worth it. Mine did not unfortunately. Iâll have to make sure they consume enough through their diet. The smarty pants cherry berry contain some already, but not quite enough.Update: these goobers asked for it the next day and liked it! Iâm still skeptical of the youngest one because he didnât swallow it quick enough, but perhaps he will continue to take them. Fingers crossed. I still think it was worth a try, and I hope they get third party testing that we can see or certified by NSF or USP, if consumer labs could check these out, that would be great! Just try them, in the end the child is going to be the ultimate judge unless you can find a way to get them to take it regardless ð¥´

Tastes good with interesting texture
The flavor is great and doesn’t have any of that weird sweetener flavor. It’s less of a gummy and more like a rubbery solidify gel. I’ve never had anything like it, but as an ADHD adult it’s ok. But my son with ADHD didn’t like the texture. He said it was weird and crumbly.

I received the product on time. I have used nordic naturals earlier also. No problem with the brand .But the packaging was bad. 3 gummy chews had come out of the shell . This is a very expensive item .I am left with 3 useless gummy chews now. Amazon should use proper thermofome packaging for such delicate and expensive items. Really disappointed this time
