Versatile Summer Bargain
If youâre all in for outdoor entertaining, these well-made, shiny galvanized metal ice tubs will look great in your backyard and will definitely keep your beverages cold without damaging your wallet. They look like miniature horse troughs and have cut out carrying handles on the sides. Theyâre big enough to fit about 10 standard 12-oz. bottles or cans and the ice to keep them cold. The tubs are also perfect for keeping fruit or other food cold outside.
These things are very versatile: they have a lot more uses that just keeping drinks cold. Personally, I got them to use as mini-washtubs. I have so many t-shirts that require hand washing these days and the tubs fit perfectly in my bathtub. And like their bigger horse trough cousins, they will also make attractive planters. One quibble: the seller says these hold 3 gallons but that is true only if cover over the cut out side handles; otherwise they hold about 2 gallons of liquid. The tubs do have a light protective coating. Wash them thoroughly with hot water and some grease removing dish soap before using.
The best part about these things is the price. You get four of these tubs in a set for less than one of those small plastic lunch box coolers! I had to check my confirmed order several times just to make sure I didnât misread the quantity or the price. Your guests will be impressed at how wonderful these things look and youâll be impressed with how little they cost! And they do a great job to boot. Highly recommended.

So cute and so versatile
Love these tubs.
I got these because when we have bonfires or any party, we have four drink needs: soda, water, beer, premade canned cocktails. I can put these four tubs out, label them accordingly, and have clear distinction between each.
I can also switch it up and just use soda in one, beer/cocktail coolers in another, and snacks in the other two!
And my son is planning to mix up a big batch of Swamp Water in one for our Halloween bonfire.
I did that last weekend. We put popcorn in one of them and snack mix in the other.
I mean, these are awesome and will be so great to have for every gathering!
I am so excited to fill two of them with regular and then flavored popcorns when we host the family outdoor movie night next week.
They are well-made and very heavy. I mean, I had them all stacked up on each other and tried to grab them with one hand and they dropped right back out of my hand because they were so heavy.

very nice for any kind of parties
Galvanized buckets have been used to carry beverages at a number of parties and events I’ve attended, and I must admit that I thought they looked amazing. I use these primarily for outdoor parties, but you could use them for a fancy themed BBQ or store them beneath a table for a more elegant setting. They do hold your drinks warm for a considerable amount of time if you fill them with ice. They are big, robust, and quite simple to clean up after your event. They are nice, and I think they would be a perfect addition to parties at my house!

Nice party organizers
I am organizing a picnic family reunion. Everyone will be bringing dishes to share, and I will be bringing paper plates, plastic flatware, and condiments. These looked like good totes to help organize those items. The tubs:

These tubs are perfect for a variety of uses. The handles are cutout with smooth rolled edges, making the tubs safe and comfortable for carrying. Shiny galvanized steel looks attractive holding ice and beverages and won’t leak. Also great for bringing in produce from the garden. I do plan on using one of these to hold my yarn when crocheting. The open top makes it easy to see the various colors I need without having the dig around in a bag or basket and the shape and size of the tub sit nicely beside my chair when working.
