Works better than toy blocker straps
Before getting this toy blocker, I had ordered toy blocker straps that wrap around the legs of your furniture to create a barrier for wayward toys. The strap only fits with uniform shaped furniture legs, and will not work with furniture on wheels.Obviously, the type of toy blocker will work with any furniture as long as it fits snuggly in the gap underneath. My furniture sits rather low to the floor (way too low for a roomba), but this foam-filled toy blocker was able to squoosh under the lounge and easily and securely fill the space. With toy blocker straps, the straps will not work if they are just slightly thicker than the gap they are intended to fill.So our kids tend to enjoy hiding toys under furniture, and then later trying to reach underneath to retrieve them. The toy blocker strap only made this activity more fun, as the straps are stretchy and are easy to reach over or under. However, THESE TOY BLOCKERS fit so snug, that there is no way our kids can push a toy over or under the blocker.When the toy blocker becomes dusty or dirty, you can unzip the blocker to remove the interior foam and then toss the fabric cover into the laundry.My only wish is that these toy blockers came in different sizes, because the fit under our furniture is so tight that it makes placing and removing the blocker less easy than it should be. So, when we use the toy blocker, it looks nothing like the pictures; it is almost completely squished. The height dimensions of the toy blocker are 4 inches and 5 inches, although the bottoms of our furniture sits just 2.5 inches above the floor. So a toy blocker that is just 3 inches high would really be ideal for us.
