Worth every penny!

I should have done it when I got my baby! Using it saves me time and money I’d pay to a groomer!!! lol.Well this has been a massive life saver for us! Our dog is absolutely petrified by anything touching his paws, mainly his front ones, we have taken him a few times to get his claws clipped and the stress is unbearable. Thought I’d give this grinder a go as last resort before sedation and Oh my days!! At first he was a little nervous but he allowed me to do it!! He is still a little more reluctant with his front claws but I’m absolutely over the moon that we found this. The noise is very quiet and it’s easy to hold and use. Cheers!!I bought this to smoothen my dogs sharp claws and my dog does not seen to mind it being used. It does take a while to take large amounts off but i may get better if i use it more. About the sound, its quieter than expected, great for a total amaetur! I have 2 shepherds and a greyhound, all of which needed their nails tidying up, after an initial bit of wriggling they let me carry on and it was done quickly and effectively, was a good purchase Iâm happy with the results.Why i’d like to say its super convenient cause it’s cordless, it’s easy to use. The nail grinder for dogs was securely packaged and delivered very quickly, as is typical for Amazon. Thank you for the great service and for letting me use the product for testing purposes.The nail grinder itself is of good to very good quality and is designed to do its job for many years. Replacement grinding heads are not offered by the seller here, which I personally find a shame, since the grinding attachments can be replaced anyway and because of the sustainability.To get our dog used to the new device, I followed the instructions step by step and although our dog is rather timid, she actually let me do one paw with the grinder. I used the pre-assembled “coarse grinding attachment” and the nails were very easy to trim.Because the grinding stones have a recess, the nails do not slip away when grinding, which I really liked. I ground the first two nails with the plastic attachment and the rest of the paw without the ring attachment.Both variants work very well if you hold the nail to be ground firmly with your fingers, which also reduces the vibration in the nail somewhat. (more comfortable for the animal)What should also be mentioned is that the claw grinder can be charged and used at the same time. This is a very practical function if you forget to fully charge the battery and need a little longer to grind.As with so many things in life, the saying applies here…”There is strength in calmness” and if you radiate calmness when grinding, the animal will not become restless and less anxious.ConclusionThe electric grinder is very large and easy to hold and is very easy to use. It’s been a few months since I’ve used this as I didn’t want to write a review while my dog was still a little unsure of it.But after some training, I can honestly say that I enjoy this product far more than I thought I would. I am always skeptical on buying clippers because my previous ones are a little weak, so having clippers come in a pack that were durable enough to clip my dog’s nails was a very nice surprise.Everything is easy to use, the grinder has several modes and it holds a LOT of battery charge to it. I only charged it once in the several months of use and its still going strong so far. I haven’t yet had to change the grinding nub and it does a very good job on getting my dogs nails down to a length I like.The only suggestion, which isn’t even a concern, is having some kind of guard on the grinder that could trap the dust without hindering the way an individual has to grind their dog’s nails.Overall, I am very happy with this product and would recommend it to others.

The fact that this product comes with the nail clippers is a great value for money. I bought the dual package. Nail clipper is as expected, sturdy and good size for medium to large dog size. The grinder comes with a spare, has a protective shield (though can be removed and used without), and is soft enough in sound to not scare my husky x GSD mix. It charges fast and doesn’t drain the battery to quick (have not even had to charge it yet after couple uses on different dogs) even if you use the added light function. All round great product and would recommend for dog lovers alike.

This nail grinder feels like itâs good quality. I appreciate that the instructions include how to slowly get the dog used to the grinder before actually using it on them. I havenât used it yet because my dog doesnât like her nails being trimmer so I have only turned it on and held it close to her while giving her treats, but it is really quiet and easy to hold so I think it will work well. There are three speed settings, a light on the end that you can turn on and off and a battery indicator that shows 25/50/75%. The grinding bit is like a stone rather than sand paper so I feel like it will be durable and usable for a while, plus thereâs an extra one. It is all as described. So far I would recommend it!
