Love it! Great deal
I originally was going to to buy a fancier one, as in the color I wanted to go w my bedroom but this was a 2 pack and Iâd have it the next day! We just got a puppy heâs 5 months old, so accidents r happening. This thing is actually water proof! He threw up in the middle of the night kept us from turning everything over. I just switched them, washed it air dried it and do it all over again. The second is folded in half on my couch

good size and water resistance, thinner blanket
I’ve ordered a ton of these waterproof dog blankets over the years. These are about standard. The out-of-box water resistance is quite good. If you don’t catch the accidents right away though, it can eventually get through the material. At least there’s a layer in between fabric that prevents liquids from seeping through. The fabric isn’t as soft as others, and the quality isn’t as thick. The size is great and so far it works as I need. But my pup already found a flaw in the blankets and started to tear them up – effectively neutralizing them. He didn’t have quite as easy of a time doing similar with other options we’ve tried. I also suspect that the water resistant fabric will loose efficacy as all the others have, with each wash. But washing is necessary with messy pups.

Doing the trick
My old dog sleeps with me and he drools. When he’s done drooling he drools some more. He also has skin allergies that cause sores that weep sometimes. All that drool and yuck is hard on the sheets and blankets.Along comes this set of two waterproof blankets available through the Vine program. Though I have a queen size bed and the size offered in the program wasn’t really as large as a queen size blanket would be, I knew the 82×82″ size would cover the top of the bed well enough to help, a lot! It really has helped, too.It’s got a quilted type construction, but luckily it isn’t too heavy for me to use in the summer. I have had it on my bed for a week now. The sheets underneath are fairing much better than those with a regular, absorbent blanket on top did. Granted, the part at the head of the bed gets a bit dirtier than the rest because the dog gets on that area of the sheets. I don’t sleep with my head buried beneath my covers, after all. But I’d rather deal with a slender portion of the fitted sheet dirty than the majority of both sheets dirty where he sleeps. If you’re a dog owner who does allow your dog on your bed to sleep, you likely will admit that the dog’s “portion” of the bed tends to end up much larger than the human’s space anyway. That means these blankets are a help over the majority of the bed space.The dark gray color prevents the drool spots from being obvious once they’ve dried, too. The bed appears much cleaner with this blanket on than it did with my standard dark blue blanket. I haven’t laundered one of these yet but that should be happening in the next few days. They are machine washable in cold water, but do require line drying. No bleach, ironing, tumble drying or dry cleaning recommended. I anticipate no problems with the laundering except my personal ability to line dry the item. Since I’m disabled, I can not hang things out to dry myself. That makes the fact that these blankets come in packs of two even more appealing for me. That gives me another one to be using while I have a helper launder the dirty one.The care sheet enclosed in the packaging is thorough and much easier to read than a small tag. It offers veterinary advice on how often pet bedding should be washed, too. Plus, it expressly offers generous options if you have any trouble with the blanket, along with the manufacturer’s contact information.I would definitely recommend these for pet owners. The price is good for a single unit alone and that much better for the pair of these blankets you receive.

Great for Keeping Fur and/or Dirt/Mud off your stuff. I keep one in the car.
This comes with two blankets per pack. They are fairly thin and light – but does seem to have the substance to handle some rough treatment (do you have a dog that likes to “dig” or “nest” before they lay down?). They are quilted and the edging has an overlap on it – which would make it more sturdy. The blanket can stay on top of the bed and not add weight to the covers – and keeps the dog hair off the top.Also, my dogs, though indoor, get dirty. They get baths – they run around the house and lay on the carpet. I can put one of these blankets down and have the dog stay on it (yes, they’re pretty good at listening to commands).I really didn’t need both – but decided to put one in my car. We use it to line the cargo area and back seats when we are hauling more messy things (like plants). We have also used it to protect the interior when we have brought home some fencing material…it did great. And it folds down and out of the way that I can keep it in the cargo area. Keeping one in the car is also good for the times I take the dogs out on a hike and they get muddy or otherwise dirty.The price is decent for the fact you get two. I note some competitors are at that price point for just one.

These are great if you want to cover your whole couch without using those ill-fitting couch covers. Just throw it on and it’s easily removed and washed when needed.
