Is like to clarify something: water does not flow through the straw, air does.This bottle has a deep valve well like all Camelback water bottles, this is the source of a little water being left in the bottle. This design is required for the silicon valve, and bike bottles that don’t have a silicon valve still have a well for the plastic valve. If you use bike bottles, it’s a non-issue.Camelbak products have always been great and have never failed me. I use their biking bottles, backpacking bottles, reservoirs, and cleaning kits. I’ve got a vacuum insulated backpacking style bottle that gets beat up Mon-Fri, and it doesn’t seem to care. I’ve attached an image of it for reference. BTW, love their mag lock caps. Finally something that keeps caps out of your face while drinking.

Seals perfectly, no leaking when transporting in my bag and when using in vehicle. Opens/ closes easily. Functional for bike riding. Water stays cool, tastes great! Design fits drink holder on bike. Overall great quality.

Great flow
It’s nice not having to deal with plastic. It still has excellent flow and is light weight. Great for biking!

Seriously, buy something else.
Firstly the description of this water bottle says it’s metal. It’s coated in plastic and my bike wattle bottle holder gouged it instantly. I bought a bottle with METAL in the description for a reason.Secondly and honestly more important. The design of this bottle is flawed. You will not be able to empty the contents of the bottle without unscrewing the cap. This is an absolute waste of money and I’m more than likely going to return it or throw it away.

ポディウムの2倍の保冷（保温）をうたう「チル」ですら、真夏のライドは氷を目一杯入れてもすぐ温くなる。それ以上に嫌なのが、ポリプロピレンの風味が溶け出す問題。そんな時これの登場はありがたい。★チルとの比較①大きさについて：ステンレス650mlボトルはチル710mlよりやや大きく、そのため世の中の大半のケージに嵌まらないので、（ショップにて20種近くフィッティングしてみたが合うケージの方が稀）導入の際は注意されたし。自分は調節可能なケージに買い替えた。②重量について：乗り換え組の第一印象は、おそらくこれを重く感じる筈。極限の軽さを求めるライダーには不向きかもしれない（650ml：365g、530ml：295g）。特に650mlボトルにおいては、満タンにすると1kgを超えるのだから1gを削るのに必死なライダーにとっては相当な重量だ。③流量について：素材がこれまでのように柔らかいものではないから圧縮しても出せない。だが哺乳瓶のように吸えば好きなだけ出る。以前のチルとは違い口を付け飲む機会が増えるので、飲み口汚れ防止策として純正キャップ（ダートチルに付いてるアレ。Amazon内で1,000円弱）を購入した。これで安心。でも高いな、キャップに1,000円弱・・・。④表面加工ほか：メタルに塗装のため（モス購入）、ケージとの摩擦で傷が付く覚悟必至。色味について。ミリタリー系カーキ好きのためモスを購入。実際の色味の印象は、ガンダムに出てくるザクみたいな色（全然わからないよ）。メーカー商品画像より渋目のグリーン、イイ。その他カラーだと、画像では100％無しだったパール。実物を見ると昨今SUV、グラベル＆マウンテンバイクなどでよく見られるカフェオレカラーというか、ちょっと燻んだベージュがかなり良い。本命モスを差し置き、うっかり買いそうに。（画像：左からステンレス650ml、チル710ml、ダートチル610ml）追記：ロングライドレビュー4月。20度越えの中70km強ライド。半分まで入れた氷夕方まで溶けず。なかなかの保冷力。今から夏が楽しみ。7月。最高気温35度、夜通しの120kmライドでも保冷をキープ。中に入れた氷も途中買い足しつつ、ボトル内はぬるくなることなく十分長持ち。重ささえ許せれば導入の価値アリ。8月。40度近い炎天下ロングライド。グリーンのボトルですら掴むのが困難な熱さになる。中の氷も普段より早い溶け具合。余程のブラック愛好家でない限り、夏場はブラックのボトル使用は避けた方が賢明かもしれない。
