UPDATE: base coat, one coat then clear top coat looks better for me for what i want. Not as streaky with base coat.I bought this because Baby Take Vow was sold out. I wanted something that one coat would make my nails sorta natural like BTV. This pic is two coats and still looks streaky. Meh. I will probably just buy directly from OPI or salon in future.

Not typical of OPI products
After buying other brands of sheer pink and not getting the results I expected, I finally went with OPI. Love their polish, but itâs a splurge. This has been a popular color for them and the photos seemed like what I was looking for. To keep it from streaking, you have to wipe nearly all the polish off the brush. And while the dry polish is very sheer on your nails, itâs much more apparent on your cuticle. I tried several times and had no success in adding a second coat. It streaks badly and just doesnât cover evenly, so you have to remove it and start over. Definitely not my usual experience with OPI.

Worst color ever
It is the worst “nude” ever. As a very white person, it is not flattering on my skin but I do think it would look nice on darker skin tones. It has yellow/orange tones and not a lot of pink, it looks truly gross against my skin. I use only light pinks, sheer nudes, etc and this is the worst one I’ve found. It is thick but streaky somehow so takes 3 coats and the color is honestly gross. If youre looking for a “nude”, i recommend essie “mademoiselle” – it still might take 3 coats but just for uniform color, not for goopy consistency problems. Essie “mademoiselle” ends up truly nude and flattering for all skin tones, no weird yellow or orange undertones but a clean nude pink.My go-to (and works for all skin colors) is essie “waltz” – its the most beautiful sheer pearl thats buildable. It was recommended by a tv and movie makeup artist and is the actual perfect nail polish in the world. However, if youre looking for a “nude/slight pink” essie “mademoiselle” will do the trick.Opi missed the mark on this one, i dont understand the hype. They must not have discovered essie mademoiselle or waltz…
