Good Nut Mix as always
This year the nut pack was not packed tightly before shipping. When the nuts arrived all had flowed into the other nuts holding compartment. Now, it was giant bowl of mixed nuts! Oh well. Still taste good, just not that attractive looking, lol.

Better Packaging
I think the company suffers a little bit from a packaging problem. By this I mean their paper/cardboard boxes are a little on the flimsy side and don’t seem to be able to handle the roughness that comes with shipping.I say this because the box was kinda bent out of shape when I received it. Furthermore, unfortunately, the plastic container that the nuts themselves came in arrived to me slightly cracked. I am super glad they use a clear plastic wrap to keep the two halves secure otherwise I might have received this with my nuts spilled all over the place.The only saving grace as well since opening it is in spite of the crack its still able to close somewhat securely so that means I can preserve the treat and enjoy it on multiple days after this one. It is going to effect the freshness which is why I took down a star.Outside of that the nuts themselves are great. Fresh and delicious. Were they scattered to kingdom come? Yup. And in that case if you’re someone who doesn’t like their foods to touch or likes having everything a little separate well…you might be kinda disappointed. My honey toasted pecans were in basically every single quadrant and I had to carefully pick them out.Still, I like the variety of nuts offered and that you get a nice combo between all-natural nuts (for those who like them simple and plain) and specialized flavored nuts (for those who like a little something unique). Good for a gift but maybe not for anyone who really loves presentation – that’s the only real flaw. Outside of that great.

Great Gift Option
The brownies arrived on time, and in good condition. I can tell you that where I live in rural Alaska that is a starting on a positive note. The presentation of the brownies is very nice, and I like that they are all individually packaged for freshness. This would make a very nice gift for a couple, or a family on your gift list. The brownies themselves are very tasty, and are a nice size for a snack. I would definitely consider buying these again for our house, or as a gift for someone else’s.

Pretty shaken
The nuts are fresh, but they come in a very cheap plastic divided tray that did not hold them securely in place during transit, so the nuts came pretty shaken up and all mixed together. It did not look nice enough to bring as a gift. So the upside is that I get to eat them all!

Brownie Gift Box (12 Assorted)
I wish these brownies were as exquisite as the box they come in, but they fall short in terms of texture. I prefer more of a chewy homemade consistency and these are light and crumbly (like a dense cake). The taste in general is very good, hence my 4-star rating.The icing is firm and tastes pretty good. I appreciate the little sprinkles on top, which give these brownies their distinction (there’s no other feature/ingredient that makes them assorted, such as nuts). The sprinkles consist of mini caramel chips, gold sugar crystals, yellow cookie crumbs, and peppermint bits. These brownies would be great paired with a scoop of ice cream.I love that they’re all individually wrapped, plus the outer box is sealed in cellophane, making the brownies as fresh as can be expected. No complaints whatsoever in regards to that.Would I classify these as gourmet? Not entirely. But they would make a lovely gift for the holidays. I can make a superior brownie at home using a mix and buttercream icing. But what I can’t do is package them as beautifully as this assortment.The listing price of $25.95 isn’t out of line, as all gourmet food gifts tend to be on the pricey side.

Delicious brownies!
First, these brownies come in a nice box suitable for gifting. The 4 varieties (3 brownies each) were exactly as described. They tend to have a texture a little more like cake than a typical brownie, which I like. They taste delicious and I think it’s quite fair to call these “gourmet”. They aren’t very large (2″ x 2″), but that means they only have 210 calories each. They are individually wrapped, so they have a long shelf life. If you catch them on sale, the price per brownie is actually pretty good (have you seen the price of a candy bar lately??), and at full price they are still reasonable for gift giving. Anyone with a sweet tooth will appreciate these!

This was a Christmas gift. Maybe not enough nuts in each compartment? I done know, but certainly not giving as a gift! I will be returning, and ordering from a different company!

A good party piece
A couple of notes here.First is the presentation itself. It’s a good look. A circular dish, each one filled with nuts…yes, it looks very good on a table.Then there are the nuts themselves. They are certainly above average, but just know they stop a bit short of haute cuisine gourmet need-to-impress-my-snobby-mother-in-law type things. I kind of wished for extra-large cashews (hey, those are my favorites) and steered well clear of the almonds (I’m sure these are good, but to my palate all almonds are, well, ugh.). Two kinds of peanuts though are a bit unusual in my opinion. That’s where I gently criticize. Presentation implies top shelf, using peanuts tends to make me think “pub.” A nice pub though, to be sure.I’m honestly surprised that this item survived shipping as well as it did. Sure some product leaked out of their compartments, but no more so than other similar items I purchased from similar vendors. In other words, nothing unexpected (I didn’t open the box and see all the nuts mixed together….).So I like the product. I do. I kind of wish they’d stuck with just one kind of peanut (the toffee coated are really great) and substituted something else for the plain peanuts. Like more cashews…A good plate.
