After founding the Haven’s Kitchen cooking school in NYC in 2012, Alison Cayne realized busy people don’t always have the confidence, skills, or time to make globally-inspired sauces & condiments. Working with their students, they made their first line of fresh sauces in 2018. Then, in 2024, they created a shelf-stable line of vegan AIOLI, a creamy, flavor-packed condiment for dipping, drizzling, & spreading more flavor on their favorite dishes.

How did we get our start?
Haven’s Kitchen began as a brick-and-mortar cooking school in NYC in 2012. Our students loved the sauces we were teaching them but didn’t love the shopping, chopping, and cleaning that came along with them. In response, we created our first line of fresh, squeezy sauces. A few years later, we introduced our aioli line.
What makes our products unique?
We never use artificial colors, ingredients, or preservatives, and they are lower in sodium, sugar, and cholesterol than the competition. All of our products are non-GMO verified, Vegan, and Keto friendly.

No Country Of Origin Listed, Tastes Good, Not Too Strong Or Too Hot
No country of origin listed anywhere on page or on product. The label says it’s manufactured for a company in NY that distributes it, but no mention of origins, which is important to me for food items.It’s a sauce thicker than ketchup, closer to the viscosity of mayonnaise. The taste is milder than I expected and very pleasant to me. I’m pretty sensitive to strong or fiery hot spices (especially chili peppers), so I was nervous about trying it. I was happy to find that it didn’t burn my tongue or overwhelm my taste buds.The pouch I got says it expires 2/5/25, which is 3 months from the day I received it. Also, must refrigerate after opening where it’s said to last 7 days.While this is made from chickpeas, I was a little disappointed to see that it has no protein and no fiber content. I mean, it’s a condiment, so how much should I really expect? Still, this was a tiny bit of a let-down. This is not factoring into my rating, just wanted to mention it.Missing the country of origin is a really big deal to me. I often dock 2 stars just for that, but I’ll allow taking off just 1 star because it has a pleasant taste, is in a manageable amount for home use, and it’s otherwise pretty open about listing allergen warnings and ingredients.4 stars from me!

These Aiolis are a staple at our home – amazing tasting, whole ingredients, sustainable packaging. We put the aioli on eggs, sandwiches, salads – pretty much everything. Pick these up you wonât regret

Clean flavor
I ordered this after searching for a cleaner label vegan mayo and I am SO HAPPY I did! The flavors are all different, but each one is excellent. And I love that they’re egg-free and use high-oleic sunflower oil and aquafaba. You can actually taste the yuzu and herbs!! My favorite is the Jalapeño – it tastes like a cream sauce at my favorite Mexican restaurant but without ANY guilt! BIG recommend on this one!

Delish + Dairy Free !!
I was looking for a dairy free aioli and was so glad to have found these.I put it on everything from salads to eggs to grilled chicken – it literally makes everything taste better and feels super light. I especially love using it as a dip for a healthy snack of cucumbers / carrots.My favourite is the jalapeño cause it has a bit of a kick – but honestly love them all : )

Different
This adds some extra flavor and moisture to what might be an otherwise dry sandwich so maybe that’s why it’s promoted as a mayo replacement. But the similarities stop there. It’s different and maybe more like a salad dressing consistency than a spread. The basil is strong so will probably go with lots of different things you might use in a sandwich also. But I’m concerned that it can only be refrigerated after opening for a short amount of time. This limits its uses for me because I doubt I could use up an entire package in a week. So maybe if I were to buy this I would get it in anticipation of a party where I would use up most of it at one time. Unless you can find ways to use it every day, condiments are usually something that take more than a week to use up. It’s good otherwise, though.

Convenient and delicious
I love all of Havenâs Kitchen sauces for the convenience and flavor and was looking forward to the aioliâs to roll out. I love these aioliâs just as much. They make everything taste so flavorful and theyâre so versatile. My kids love the Herby Yuzu and the Sunshine Chili and use it for salads (nice alternate to Caesar dressing) or veggie snacks. Highly recommend having Havenâs Kitchen aioli in your pantry!
