I first have to say, I don’t typically write reviews UNLESS the product blows me away, which is rare. To give you a little background about my hair. I had extremely HEALTHY, LONG, THICK blonde hair! It fell to the middle of my back, It was absolutely beautiful. I went to get it colored to give it a break from the highlights, I was going to change it to a strawberry blonde, which I have been many times before and other than blonde, its the only other color I like on me. When I went to the salon, they messed up the color. I ended up with hot pinkish, purple roots and a grayish auburn, mid-shaft to ends. I was in the salon that day for 7 and a half hours. They had to bleach my entire head and leave it on to get all of the screwed up colors out of my hair, resulting to EXTREME chemical damage and breakage. I went in with my hair being all one length to having bangs that were never even cut into my hair. My hair was destroyed and they had to take over 5inches off just to get the ends to LOOK healthy. My hair now sits on my shoulders and has broken pieces all over the top and mid section and all around my hair line. I have literally cried about this since it happened 5 weeks ago. It took me forever to get my hair exactly the way I wanted it and now I am starting over. My hair is no longer manageable, it is kinky and dry and looks it! The salon I had gone to was a new salon closer to where I moved. Prior to this salon I had been going to my original hairstylist for 15 years (I’m 30) so half of my life one person has touched my hair. I live two hours from her now so I decided to give a different salon a try and it was a mistake. I will now be driving 2 hours to go to her every 8 weeks. I texted her about 2 weeks after this all happened and she told me right away to order this product. I didn’t hesitate. I ordered it and received it the beginning of this week. I have used it twice so far and I will tell you what, after the first time I noticed a difference! I am excited to see after a couple months and using this 3 times a week (Extremely damaged hair should use it more than once a week). I also have been sleeping with it on over night which I notice gives me better results. This is not a conditioning treatment, so it does need to be shampooed out. I have a feeling this product will be what saves my hair. I will post before and after pictures once I actually do my hair so you can see the difference!

helps naturally curly hair breakage
I have naturally curly hair, plus lots of breakage issues from health problems and this Olaplex 3 has really improved my hair, made it stronger & with less breakage. I use it 2X week and as with most things, it takes time to see good results, but even my hairdresser made the comment that my hair was lots better. And I’m so glad that there’s no scent to it as I’m extremely smell sensitive. This stuff has really helped, and I will continue to keep buying & using it.

works on virgin hair, with a caveat
Starting hair:
Firstly, my hair has never been dyed (apparently it was born damaged 🙄), and I do not use heat except blow drying using milder settings with a heat protectant on, and my non porous hair dries fast. It’s wavy/curly, extremely frizzy, dry, and tangles a lot. It is waist length now and I get fairy knots on ends.
Results:
This is the only product that made a real difference for me when it comes to detangling. Now my detangling brush can glide through it, even top to end, and it feels and even sounds silkier. This did not help the frizz at all, but it increased the slip better than a conditioner. Even the driest top section of my hair and my ends are way more conditioned and soft, this actually achieved something that a conditioner was supposed to but could never do for me (even when I applied heat to get hydration inside of my hair shaft). It was a noticeable difference after each application.
How I use it:
I rub my growth oil into the roots and Olaplex into the rest of the hair that I first dampened, as close to the roots that I can, apart from the scalp just enough so I wouldn’t get ill from sleeping with wet hair.
Verdict:
It used to be annoying detangling section by section. It brushes better now without any product on than before with it. But I do have to use it twice a week. I think my hair is a bit healthier now in general, but I skipped a wash or two and now it begins tangling again on ends like it used to… That’s the only part I didn’t like. Is my hair that easily damaged just from minor plain blow drying? Nahhhh. The product definitely produces a noticeable effect, but the benefits don’t hold up like I’d want them to. I don’t like the hassle of having to apply some product all the time so I deduct one star, but it’s still worth a repurchase. It took me a while to type this out, Amazon please stop deleting my reviews for no apparent reason at all.

Great Product
Love this stuff I use it once a week and it keeps my hair from getting dry and damaged looking. Love how soft and silky it makes my hair feel.

Ce soin a ressuscité ses cheveux, et assuré qu’ils soient parfaits pour son grand jour. Je le recommande vivement à tous ceux qui cherchent à restaurer et à revitaliser leurs cheveux abîmés. Je l’utilise maintenant, en cure au besoin, dès que mes cheveux nécessitent un coup de boost, ou avant/après une métamorphose importante ( coloration, mèches, balayage etc ). Ce produit nourrit et apporte brillance et légèreté à mes cheveux. On sent au toucher qu’ils sont plus épais. Je l’adore. Seul bémol: le prix…

It fits my hair very well. I have damaged hair and since a while my hair start falling.
It’s 2nd month I can feel the changes.
My hair is growing and start coming back to life.
I’m doing it every 3 days.
