The last batch I ordered was a different color so I reached out to the company and I have to say I am so impressed with their customer service. UPDATE #2: Amazon continues to deliver old stock!! UPDATE: Seller made things right.
UPDATE 10/28/2024:Well, I didn’t heed my own advice. Thinking the problem was solved, I ordered another batch from Amazon and got another brown, stale batch. The package I received from the seller had a sell by date on each stick wrapper of 10/16/2025, while the stuff Amazon is currently shipping has a date of 4/11/2025. I don’t know how Amazon is storing these things, but something is definitely not right. I reverted back to 1 star, because while the sticks are great (I give them a 5 when fresh), Amazon is dropping the ball here.UPDATE 10/18/2024:Seller reached out and indicated that there was a warehousing/distribution issue at Amazon and offered to ship a replacement. The new sticks arrived fresh and tasty like I remember. Hopefully, Amazon will learn how to store/inventory food products properly to keep their deliveries fresh. Â ORIGINAL REVIEW:Used to be a decent meat stick, but it seems the quality is gone. after seeing the last few months of reviews. Liquidating old stock maybe? Going out of business? I wouldn’t mind being made whole for this rotten batch, but in the meantime, I won’t be buying any more until I see positive reviews!

Tasty and affordable!
On a keto diet, these meat sticks type things are a great keto friendly “go to” item, for a snack or as part of a meal. This is, I think, the fourth brand of the basic “meat stick” now that I’ve tried, so I am comparing them to other brands I’ve ordered and eaten already.For my taste, these are just perfect. Some brands lean toward being hard to chew, almost like jerked beef, and some lean toward being mushy, almost like a raw hot dog. Like a Goldilocks tale, Nick’s Sticks got it just right. Excellent texture on these, just a bit of chewiness without being tough. Outstanding flavor. Mine arrived fresh, a long expiry date, so plenty of time to eat them, but didn’t have to worry about that because they were so tasty that they got gobbled up right quick.My only issue is that I wish they came in single packs. I tend to eat just one, but the double pack (and great taste!) makes it tempting to eat two obviously, and an extra step is needed to package up the spare one for next time.But, these are also the least expensive of the meat sticks on here, that I’ve tried, so maybe that’s as a result of doubling up with two sticks in one wrapper. I do appreciate the savings and, not a big deal to toss the other one in a ziplock bag for later. Just not as simple, when on the road, or out and about, and nowhere to store the opened package. Good excuse to eat both, but then of course these don’t last as long, going through two at a time. Perhaps that’s the thinking behind this double package?Anyway, I love these, and will buy them again (already have!) so, very easy to recommend, but just know that they do come two in a package, a minor caveat.Hope this helps, thanks for reading. 🙂

Do not taste or look right
We have loved these in the past and though these say they expire 11/24 some of the sticks are different colors and when tasting the one that looked the best it really was not good. Could be a packaging issue, but we canât eat what we received. Iâm sure the company will make it right, but make sure you check the packaging and quality before eating.

These are yummy, full of protein and can be taken anywhere…skiing, to the beach, on a work break. Very portable and quick to arrive!

The texture took a bit to get used to as it is a little different than a standard pepperoni stick, the flavour is good they are perfectly seasoned. I have ordered them a few times and I’ll keep ordering! They have become a salty meat stick favorite of mine and do the trick to satiate my need for a quick yummy savory snack during my Whole30 and beyond!

My kids can’t get enough of Nick’s sticks. They love the size and taste of these meat sticks and what me to keep buying them so that they can have them in their lunches. I love being able to throw a few in my purse as well if we are going out for the day as an emergency snack. Highly recommend!
