Cozy and Comfortable
My elderly father loves his new gray/dark blue reversible blanket — keeps him warm (but not hot) and cozy. Nice material and soft texture. Though it comes with loops to attach an attachable duvet, they’re not needed for his purposes and not so big that they’re unsightly. Needed a Twin XL for a nursing home-size bed and they had the right size. Very happy with this purchase.

Poor Packaging but Product Is Great!
Just received this comforter today. Got it two days earlier than the expected delivery time which is amazing. So far I’m really loving this product. It’s super soft and super comfortable. The comforters plastic packaging was really nice. Came vaccumed sealed in your standard plastic package with a zipper like all comforters normally do. I probably should’ve ordered the queen size instead the king though cause I wasn’t expecting it to be as big as it is. That’s on me though. Other than that though, I’ve seen no issue with it. It is lightweight but it’s also heavy enough to keep you warm but not TOO warm. So for where I live it’s actually exactly what I would need all year round. If you guys are looking for a really nice, comfortable, soft and warm comforter than I would definetely recommend this one. It’s really good for the price. Only reason I’m giving this a 4-star rating is because I feel the packaging couldve been alot better. The box it came in wasn’t in the best of shape. Like it was badly damaged. Alot of the edges and flaps were bent and disconfigured. (Almost like it was tossed around carelessly). And it was only taped once on both sides of the box. Normally when I get packages like this it’s more properly sealed. Not sure if thats a UPS issue or the main packer’s issue. Other than that, great product so far! Definetely would recommend!

Keeps a person warm in winter, very comfortable.
I live in a trailer with poor insulation. The last 3 winters I kept the temperature at 50-55F (to save on electricity). I bought small sherpa blankets. However I have 3 cats, and the cardboard from the scratchers kept getting caught in the sherpa lining. I learned to buy only smooth material when choosing blankets. Four winters ago – trying to stay warm at night – I bought a sleeping bag with ?nylon? outside. It was lightweight and warm, but did not breathe. I would wake up wet from sweat. Next I bought a below zero rated sleeping bag that was cotton. I weighed 9lb and would breathe. If I kept it zipped up, it would take 10-15 min to warm up. When I woke up, again I was wet from sweat. If I opened the bag, then air circulated, but it became a blanket, not a bag. Since I am 6ft 2in, even an extra tall sleeping is a short blanket. If I pull it up to my chin, then cold air gets to my feet. This winter I tried this Comforter in King Size. I have used it for a week now. I love it and the 3 cats love it. For reasons I do not understand – the cats did not seem to like the sleeping bag. They kept trying to push it out of the way to find a spot to lay down. The day I took this out of the package, I noticed that within and hour, all 3 cats were sleeping on top of it. They love it, even when I am not under it ! ! ! At night, I use a large 5.6lb blanket, with this King Size Comforter on top (7.7lb). As soon as I lay down, all 3 cats come running to get a good spot. When I wake up in the morning, I am plenty warm, but not sweating at all. It is kind to hard to figure out why this comforter is so different from a below zero sleeping bag. The comforter is 7.7lb, and the sleeping bag is 9.1lb. Since they are similar in weight, you would think they would be similar in feel and warmth. However, the sleeping bag, though cotton, feels the same as canvas overalls from Carhart. Super tough, very heavy, and stiff (but warm). This comforter seems to be super soft, and very light, as if you covered by a layer of magic warmth that you can barely feel. When I wake up in the morning, I am not sweating at all. Since I got a king size, when I pull it to my chin, there is so much hanging past my feet, very little cold air gets to my feet. When I lay down, in 5min or so, the blankets warm up, and the cats come running. Then we all sleep like rocks. Even though it weights 7.7lb, and has the warmth of a winter blanket, it feels super light (as if it was only a 3 lb blanket). I don’t understand it, but it sure feels nice on cold nights. I wish I had gotten this years ago. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT FOR ANY ONE TRYING TO STAY WARM IN A COLD HOUSE ! ! !

I got the cocoa reversible Queen sized one on sale. Great comforter. Good size, arrived on time, very comfortable.
Time will tell how well it holds up.
