When I replaced my other refrigerator I was given the choice of the Whirlpool refrigerator with a vegetable filter. The preserver replacement will last up to 6 months in the refrigerator. It comes with an indicator to let you know when it is time to replace it. I like the fact that I can get them in multiples too.
