When it comes to streaming video, the content pile is vast, and you’ve got the whole weekend to decide how you want to slice it. There are now too many shows and movies to choose from, spread across too many video-streaming services. We make it easy for you. Each week, we highlight the streaming content we’re excited to watch or think you should binge. Fire up your media-streaming device of choice and start watching.

Our Top-Rated Video-Streaming Services

Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy (Peacock)

Our girl Bridget Jones has been through a lot since her first film almost a quarter century ago. She’s found and lost love many times over. In this likely final film in the series (and the first one to premiere on streaming), her last happy ending has been upturned when Mark Darcy dies. Bridget is very down but refuses to count herself out when it comes to love, so she entertains new (and potentially old) suitors.

The White Lotus: Season 3 (Max)

You know what you get with The White Lotus: murder and a group of terrible rich people taking advantage of an exotic locale and those who live there. You also know you’ll be wildly entertained. The third season takes place in Thailand and stars Walton Goggins, Parker Posey, Carrie Coon, and Jason Isaacs.

This Time Next Year (Roku Channel)

Emily in Paris has some competition for a love story set in a beautiful city from one of its own, Lucien Laviscount. He plays one half of a duo born in the same hospital on the same day, one minute apart, who are fated to meet up over three decades later. It’s on the Roku Channel and on our list of free things to stream this month.

Love Is Blind: Season 8 (Netflix)

This show has clearly demonstrated that love is not blind, but a new group of daters is back for more sight-unseen love matches anyway. This time, the group is from Minneapolis-St. Paul, and the trailer teases the usual drama. Which is the real reason to watch, right?

Recommended by Our Editors

Muslim Matchmaker (Hulu)

If you miss the mix of sweetness and cringe from Indian Matchmaking and Jewish Matchmaking, there’s now Muslim Matchmaker. Hoda Abrahim and Yasmin Elhady do their best to pair singles who are looking for love but might not know themselves well enough to find it on their own.

Cobra Kai: Season 6, Part 3 (Netflix)

Cobra Kai was a surprise from the start. No one expected The Karate Kid to return in streaming show form decades after its release. And certainly no one expected it to be good. Now we’re sad to see the show go with the end of its final season. Sweep the leg, Johnny!

About Chandra Steele

Senior Features Writer

Chandra Steele

My title is Senior Features Writer, which is a license to write about absolutely anything if I can connect it to technology (I can). I’ve been at PCMag since 2011 and have covered the surveillance state, vaccination cards, ghost guns, voting, ISIS, art, fashion, film, design, gender bias, and more. You might have seen me on TV talking about these topics or heard me on your commute home on the radio or a podcast. Or maybe you’ve just seen my Bernie meme.

I strive to explain topics that you might come across in the news but not fully understand, such as NFTs and meme stocks. I’ve had the pleasure of talking tech with Jeff Goldblum, Ang Lee, and other celebrities who have brought a different perspective to it. I put great care into writing gift guides and am always touched by the notes I get from people who’ve used them to choose presents that have been well-received. Though I love that I get to write about the tech industry every day, it’s touched by gender, racial, and socioeconomic inequality and I try to bring these topics to light.

Outside of PCMag, I write fiction, poetry, humor, and essays on culture.
