Too tight and too lose in all the wrong places
I bought these because there are very few options for organic cotton leggings. I want to avoid wearing recycled plastic and that’s what most of the workout wear is made from. They’re very heavy and stiff. It’s cotton, so I get that. They are loose through the waist and extremely tight through the calves. I decided to wash them to see if I could get them to loosen up. Cold wash and hung dry. They didn’t loosen. I wore them to the gym to see how they felt while working out. They stayed hot and tight. If I go up a size, the waist will be even bigger. A snugger waist and loose legs would be lovely but I can’t find such a thing. These aren’t it.

Great once the correct size was sent!
I ordered these leggings in a medium. They come in a box with a label that clearly indicates the size. Amazon sent me a size small 3 times. I finally contacted the company and explained the problem I was having. They were very helpful and quickly sent out a medium for me, while they try to figure out what the issue is on Amazon’s end. They are great and fit as expected. The fabric is very soft, comfortable and breathable. They have quickly become my new favorite leggings! I love them!

The size is very very small. Not pleased.
Too small! Even the medium is tight on a small person. I am not at all pleased. Unless you want to be in a vise donât get these.

Does not stretch out, love the length, pear shapes should size up
Most of my wardrobe consists of leggings for 8 months of the year, and I usually wear wool leggings – but thought I would try these cotton ones so I have something to wear the other 4 months of the year. Being a vertically challenged person, I really appreciate the length of these. They are short enough that they don’t look stupid with trainers and also long enough to tuck into boots without seeing skin. They wash and dry well. I normally dry my leggings over a drying rack, but for purpose of this review I threw them in the dryer, and they did not shrink (thank goodness!). I wouldn’t call them buttery soft, but they are reasonably comfortable. They look great with a tunic top or dress! After washing these I wore for 2 days straight, and they did not stretch or bag out at all. For a cotton legging, that’s incredible !
As for comfort, it’s difficult for me to rate, because I ordered a large, and was sent a medium. According to the size chart I was smack dab in the middle of small and medium, but because I do NOT like the feel of compression on my waist, I ordered a large. Anyhow, the medium fits, and looks good, but is not particularly comfortable – mainly because I am pear shaped and definitely have larger thighs. The waist band is very comfortable and there is no muffin top, but the bottom half is tight. I mean, behind my knees are tight, which doesn’t feel good, and the thighs pull down the fabric, so the crotch hangs 2-3 inches below where it should.
I probably will not wear these as much as I originally had hoped for, mainly because of the dropped crotch and knee tightness. I think those with thinner thighs will find these fit them wonderfully, but pear shapes should definitely size up.
