A little more narrow than expected
Here’s my somewhat limited review of this Deer Drag/All-Purpose Utility Sled.It came a day or two after tagging my deer so I wasn’t able to give it a true field test.Meanwhile, do I think it would be useful for hauling a deer, or similar sized game? Sure.It’s like a long sheet of heavy duty plastic with metal grommeted holes along the edge. Use the included sections of rope, fed through the holes, to secure your game/item to the sled, then pull along.I would say my immediate thoughts are that it is narrower than I expected. It says 23 inches, so I guess that’s it? But the picture on the ad behind the skier is a little misleading. Still, it’ll hold an average size whitetail deer or the like.Also, the rope included is very good. But, it’s thin and as far as dragging, it’ll be biting into your hand quick. A solution to this included with the kit would have been nice. Some sort of hand-hold or whatever. Dragging anything heavy with a section of the included rope is going to hurt after a bit. Plan to find something to use to wrap the string around instead of a body part.Otherwise, the sled itself has a slick, durable feel and bottom. Should drag nicely.I feel it’ll last a few seasons if I’m lucky enough to tag something.Plus cleanup is a breeze, just wash it off with a hose. Nothing really sticks to the surface very well, which is good.Probably would be great in the snow too.

Definitely not made for game larger than a medium side whitetail. The material is sturdy enough that it should take a decent beating over rough surfaces. Plenty of tiedown spots too.
