Worth the try. I hope it holds up, and I will update if I experience anything regarding that.
I bought two, one for myself and one for my husband. We are heavy folks, and this is rated to 330 lbs (some color options are rated to 400 lbs). This in not person weight only, but it also takes in force of sitting down, as well as gear in the bag and on person.
I like the variety of colors, the generous shoulder straps, the fairly comfortable bench seat (really quite nice for something that is part of a bag), the reflective strip, the spacious cooler, the zip pocket, water bottle holder, and the fact that the frame is nonobtrusive. It does not feel awkward at all to walk with this on as a backpack. Take note of the legs. Had this been a four-corner leg frame (like a chair), then the weight would likely push them into the ground. Instead, these are rounded and in one full piece, so the weight is distributed more evenly. Feel light, not at all heavy. Good detail.
Funny thing, we actually have four of these. As mentioned, I bought one for my husband and myself. At the time, they are $25 each, and I thought that was a good price to take a chance with. And at the same time, my husband bought one for himself and for me. He made a point to add on some paracord zipper pulls. All together we have 3 camo packs, and one army green. He had already used his several times for hunting with no complaints. Not really sure if he used it as a bag or cooler, but he definitely used it as a stool. I haven’t used mine yet other than to try it on. I will be keeping it in my car. I tend to go for hikes, and I like the option of having a bag-stool-cooler combo. Also, I like to have extra stuff in my car for emergencies and such. Also works nice for impromptu outdoor gatherings at friends houses. Got myself a seat no matter where I go. I’m a 2 is 1, 1 is none sort of thinker, so I plan to hold onto my 2nd one incase one breaks down or I simply want to use something other than camo (I have a camo one and a green one for myself).

The backpack, cooler and storage are great, but if your booty is of any size, it won’t fit. We called in a one cheek seater lol.

It’s very nice but more for kids and petite adults.
The perfect size on the go art pack for children. Not a good size for larger adults.

Defective
There were some tiny flaws in the product but still able to use. Biggest problem is that the small outside pocket that would be perfect for a cell phone, the zipper does not have a place to pull it open. So it is stuck closed and unable to use the handiest pocket on it. Very disappointed

Easy to carry around on your back and strong and sturdy for taking sitting breaks as needed. Very happy with this product.

Bought 2 as gifts. They said it was perfect for sitting while hunting. Would highly recommend

I am a heavier girl, but within the specs for this stool. Unlike a different collapsing stool that I got, this one feels sturdy and safe, and actually comfortable. Both to carry on my shoulders with the straps, as well as to sit on when I need a rest during a long walk. I deal with a lot of chronic pain and fatigue and cardiac issues, so this is perfect to allow me to maintain mobility but rest when I need to. And I like the bonus cooler bag in the middle, and the other two pockets on the front. As long as you can spot down far enough to sit on the height of this stool, you will likely enjoy it.
The one recommendation I would make is that the little velcro straps that are intended to keep the soul from opening up when you are walking, they are placed too close to the axis point, and do nothing. It would be better to have them either at the top or the bottom.
