For dehydrated apples, soaked them according to directions on label and the apples did not turn brown., even after dehydrating for 10 hours. Also, sprinkled in Guac, and no browning st all, even two days later.Great stuff!

keeps apples from turning dark after cutting
The grain size of this is a bit larger than a previous kind I used. This new bottle works just fine for my purpose. I usually eat half and apple every day, and didn’t want to cut off brown part, or throw away a perfectly good half apple. I sprinkle some flakes on a cut apple, then sprinkle some flakes on a small flat plate, and place cut side down, and put plastic wrap over both, and refrigerate it till the next day. Keeps apple from turning brown.
