Taste delicious on taco salad
I will say, these have a slight bean flavor to them. I haven’t eaten bacon in over 20 years so I wouldn’t recognize an actual bacon flavor anyway. I love adding these to taco salad for a bit of extra crunch. Great on mashed potatoes too.

These are a great alternative to traditional bacon bits if youâre looking for something that has a similar flavor and texture, but without the calories and fat content of traditional bacon bits. These are game changer. They deliver a similar smoked flavor and a great crunch and are a wonderful addition to Salads. Iâll even sprinkle a little bit on egg salad sandwiches as well. I love bacon bits and trying to be conscious about calorie and fat intake, I was so glad that I came across these and decided to give them a try. I have re-purchased these multiple times. For anyone following Weight Watchers, 1 tablespoon is 0 points; 2 tablespoons is 1 point.

These are great! Not overly smoky, like other plant-based bits I’ve tried. Super crunchy, and made with beans, which feels a bit healthier than the alternatives!

Iâve been putting these in my cucumber salad. I donât even taste the bean flavor that people have been saying. To me they taste like regular bacon bits, but in my opinion better. Also Iâm loving that it does NOT contain red 40 which is an even better plus! If you were once a huge bacon lover like me, but trying to make healthier choices, I highly recommend. DELICIOUS!!! I donât even miss bacon when I eat these. I wish the bag was a little bigger hahaha!!

Im writing this 15 minutes after they were delivered.
A scoop of cottage cheese under a mound of bac-os was one of my favorite snacks as a child/teen in the years before anyone put much thought into ingredients like red 40 and caramel color or sodium content. As an adult for obvious reasons while bac-os ARE vegan and delicious they aren’t something I can conscientiously sprinkle with wild abandon an feel good about myself. These are more of a crunchy flake than a tiny nugget. I can see myself enjoying these in all sorts of loaded potato adaptations and egg bite type things.

When I stopped eating meat years ago, my go-to vegan bacon-y toppings were Bac-Os or McCormick Bac’n Pieces, but these Fresh Gourmet Vegan Bacon-Less Bits BLOW THEM AWAY!!! The flavor, crunch and appearance are amazing! I highly recommend them!!!
