Very good value
These are a good substitute for the big name fruit and grain breakfast bars but if you’re looking for an exact “store brand style copy” these aren’t what you’re looking for. I wouldn’t say that that’s a bad thing though. These are a little larger than the big name and store brands and have a different texture as they have more whole grains compared to the finely ground texture of the others. They taste very fresh and aren’t as overly sweet as the big name copies I was expecting to receive. As someone who grew up on the big name brand, I’m, personally, not the biggest fan, but, as a dad in this economy, I will continue to buy them as long as my daughter continues to like them.

I like everything about these bars, they are tasty at a good value. Start my morning with one every day! Not the healthiest choice I suppose, but they are perfect for grab and go. Iâve been ordering them for quite awhile now, and they show up fresh every time.

Too sweet
The kids enjoy them but personally the raspberry flavor is way too sweet and sticky for me. I was excited because the reviews said these were just like a fig newton but sadly I didnât feel that way. Fig newton has a much milder filling flavor. The granola part was soft and tasty but the filling was incredibly too sweet and sticky. Maybe I need to try a different flavor, but I would not buy the raspberry again.

Mixed Berry:The first thing I noticed right off the bat is that even though these things are claiming to be blueberry, raspberry, and Apple, Etc.. to me they taste very similar to Fig Newtons. So it’s really strange that they’re combined flavor comes out tasting a lot like a fig newton. I personally am not a fig newton fan. I don’t think they taste horrible but when I’m looking for a berry flavor this is not what I’m looking for. Because the flavor is strange to me, I gave it four stars. Otherwise everything else about them is fine. The price is right. The breading is right. Their average size for a cereal bar. Although they are smaller than a nutri-grain bar…. I just don’t care for the flavor. I will try their other flavors and see if they’re better for my pallet.
