Thin but Strong and Sticky
This roll of fiberglass reinforced tape has multiple applications when it comes to packaging or repair. The tape is very similar in thickness to your average roll of clear packing tape but with the added strength of fiberglass strands that are woven crisscross along the entire length and width. At 80mm (3.1″) wide it is enough to cover most repairs well and you get almost 12meters (39feet) to work with. There are packing tapes out there that feature longitudinal fiberglass strands but having the additional cross weave makes this tape much stronger. The strands are also very tightly packed so there’s no chance of tearing this by hand and you will need scissors to cut it. The glue is very sticky but as the tape is on the thinner side, some care is required when handling so not to fold or twist it and have it stick to itself.I used this to patch a tear in a vinyl rubber work mat and so far it has held up well and has not peeled up under warmer temps and also appears to be waterproof. As with any repair tape application, ensuring the surfaces are clean and dry will provide the best chance of success. Time will be the true test of its durability as I have tried many repair tapes whose adhesives tend to soften and release under higher temperatures. At the current price of $13.99 it’s a little pricey but if it holds up over time, it’ll be fully deserving of 5 stars.

Excellent adhesion abilities
This awning repair tape really came in handy patching up small rips in my RV awning. I know that I will eventually end up needing to replace the awning fabric due to the UV damage it has suffered over the years, but this was a good way to buy some time until I’m ready to tackle the unpleasant replacement process. The tape adheres to everything well (especially itself, be careful lol) and with the reinforcement fibers I expect it to hold up well. No complaints about this, would recommend to others.

Works okay. Is waterproof.
The tape is easy to cut and sticks well to itself. It sticks temporarily to the outside netting fabric and I suggest criss crossing it to strengthen its effect if there is going to be some weight placed on it. I used this to try and mend a rip in our outside porch swing seat. It is doing an okay job but I had to criss cross the tape to stabilize it from coming off once I sat in the seat like I said. Over time as I sat in the seat it began to loosen its grip on the outside mesh. I feel this tape needs to be way stickier in order to work well enough for my situation. I think if this tape was on a different type of material it would do much better.

Awesome tape
This tape is great! Very heavy duty and great adhesion so far. You can’t rip it off the roll like regular masking or duct tape but that’s because its so heavy duty. I see it as just a minor inconvenience for long term durability.

Useless – doesn’t stick
I tried to use this to repair a boat cover that was coming apart at a couple of seams. I taped the seams on the underside of the cover on a Tuesday. I put as much pressure as possible to get good adhesion. By friday the tape had already come completely loose the whole length of the loose seam. Oh well. It was worth a try. You’ve been warned. This does not work.

Strong and sturdy!
I have a pop-up greenhouse which is nice and I have used it quite a bit in the winter for some Japanese Maple saplings. Due to harsh weather and winds, the greenhouse developed 2 holes in 2 different spots, right where it stretched over the outside poles. The greenhouse is a plastic-type material, somewhat netted, so I tried strapping tape to cover the hole. That lasted for a while, but is really too thin. I saw this tape and I thought that is exactly what I need, so ordered it. So far this tape is really strong and fit easily over the holes. It is much more secure than what I had there at first and I am hopeful this will do the trick and preserve my greenhouse longer, a great “save” for me.

Doesn’t hold a lot of weight. Not very transparent
I was hoping this would be somewhat transparent or at least low profile. But it’s pretty yellow when applied. I had a torn canopy, I used the tape on the bottom so it would be less visible.It’s decent repair tape, I was expecting it to be heavier duty but it’s about on par with my indoor/outdoor duck tape. It really won’t hold weight, like a patio chair seat. But it repairs awnings and things like that just fine. It’s waterproof and weatherproof. I’m not sure how UV resistant it is, I hope it doesn’t get brittle or yellow more with age.

Hält auf dem Marquisenstoff hervurragend. Habe zur Sicherheit das Klebeband von unten UND VON OBEN auf den dekten Bereich geklebt. Und nach ca. 2 Stunden die Marquise wieder eingerollt. Im eingerollten Zustand festigt sich das Klebeband nochmals zusätzlich. Das Ergebnis ist perfekt!
