Worked ok for I our toy poodle
I would NOT recommend this for anything bigger than a toy breed or for a dog that pulls hard! Our dog was able to pull this loose from the table. He is a hyper young dog that does not like being shaved!I do not regret buying this as it does help while shaving him down and clipping his claws!

Game changer!
I am not a groomer but I clip my Morkie myself to save money and I struggled until I got this. I set this up with a yoga mat under her, have some treats available and get it done in half the time!

Good for at home groom of small dogs
I groom my 2 toy poodles (7 & 8 lbs) at home. I do not have any special training. I got this to clamp onto a table that my husband built me in our garage. That is where I am grooming the dogs now. I like how easily the clamp assembles and adjusts. It’s sturdy enough for my small dogs and I can raise and lower it with ease. I feel confident that they are secure while on the table when held by the loop. Of course, I am always right there. I would recommend this for at home grooming of small dogs. A large or even a strong medium size dog who is not used to being groomed may not be a good candidate for this as it may not be sturdy enough if they struggle while being groomed.
