Molding in process
New Age Imports, Inc. cauldrons are handmade the old way. Keeping old methods of making cast iron cauldrons helps ensures quality and weight. In this picture our artisan is making the final preparations for the mold to pour in the iron – the next phase. Every cauldron is handmade from the start to the finish. Your cauldron will have its own story, making each cauldron unique.
Cauldron being cooked
After the molding process is done, the mold are than taken to pour area where hot iron gets poured into the molds. This process is called – The Cooking. The shape of the cauldron is formed after it cools down. After the cauldrons are cooked they than go into the other phase of assembly called binding. Once the binding process is completed the cauldrons are than put to finishing touches such as placing the handle and etc.
Final touches
We now enter the final touches of the cast iron cauldron making process where quality check is done to make sure your cauldrons are up to standard. Heavy weight and smooth finish is checked before in enters into packaging area. Each cast iron cauldron is unique!

Itâs small but it definitely holds the heat. So you can literally sit it anywhere. It can however end up on its side because thereâs only three little stubby legs but it is sturdy though

Super duper tiny. It’s cute but because of its size when I burnt loose sage leaves the heat from them would smoke up when I held the handle. There wasn’t a safe way to hold the little cauldron to keep my fingers from the heat or little flames, so I had to wear oven mitts. Be careful if you burn loose herbs.
