Great
Product is good quality and lasts a long time. I keep it in the fridge. My parrot doesn’t like it much but I can slip it in his food once in a while but he wont eat it straight. He is a picky eater. It does have a calming effect on him if he eats it. Got it for feather plucking and it seemed to help a little. But pluckers have a mind of their own anyway. He finally has cut down on most of it without this product on his own. I’d say give it a try, every bird is different.

Calm feather picking, stop itching constantly
My Goffinâs Cockatoo has always been a bird that could pluck out a feather occasionally ! Maybe even a few he would pull out feathers , off his under wing when over preening. THIS SPRING HE WENT CRAZY DURING MOLTING. He was bleeding pulling out chunks of feathers . The vet was consulted and he was healthy . I started many things, hemp seed was and will stay a toolIn my arsenal . It is used daily on top of all food just sprinkle it on what a change in a few weeks . Completely covered in new pin feathers. I use all this HEMP SEED, ALOE BATH SPAY, Hemp vitamin drops. Daily showers with me in warm bathroom unruffled RX IN WARM WATER AM AND PM . He has his own mug for his morning and evening TEA . 2 heaping scoops . He hates being sprayed with cold anything so I warm the aloe spray in a bowl of hot water wrap him up in a towel and use a soaked cotton ball to soak his open raw skin or any healing spot . This bird can fly and has out of cage time almost 24 /7 . He is held and does come with me to every room for what ever fold laundry to getting dressed .

Amazing for feather pluckers!
I have a 28 year old African Grey I re-homed from a friend 3 yrs ago. Was told he plucked for years. I have tried everything under the sun for 3 solid years and nothing worked. Tried this hemp with him and the pics speak volumes. Pics are before hemp and after 2.5 months on hemp. Iâm sold!

Nice to mix in with other “snack” foods
I’ve got a cockatiel, budgie, and green cheek conure. I have a snack mix of several different items I put out on their play area, and have recently added this to the mix as well. It also consists of dried greens, dried garden vegetables, oat groats, chia seeds, sesame seeds, red hot pepper flakes, and the Zupreem Essential Seed mix for budgies. Not sure which ones they eat/prefer, but I like to offer it to them anyway, and they like to pick through and munch on it. Seems to have a good nutritional value as well, so hopefully it’s as good as it is tasty for them to snack on.
