Very Nice Kit. Wish I would have gotten something like this many years ago. Have tried other products to help moisturize/condition dry brittle wire rough facial hair. The Oil is great for a starter to very dry hair & the Balm is great for the day-to-day conditioning and grooming. Like to dab a little Balm on the brush and then work/brush it in. Leaves hands soft and smelling nice as well as my face is being moisturized and helps with itchy flaky skin beard face. Biggest aspect I like is that it does not leave a oily/greasy residue. Nice basic lite smell; with what comes in the kit. The scissors are very small but a nice make/metal. Can barely get my fingers in the holes to use so I will be giving these to my little kid to play with (haha). The Comb & Brush are nice. Hope the Brush will last and why no case for them like in the other Viking Products that offer them. Oil came in a glass bottle. Why not plastic if it would lower the price. Wish they would offer different Oils & Balms in the Kits (samples ??) Interested in trying the “Clary Sage” and would have liked to at least to be able to smell the others though I know I will or wont ever buy them as to not waste my time and now will never know so now you miss out on possible sales. Overall, Very Nice Kit & Tin though the tin-case should be smaller and more efficient to be a carry item, with a small shatter proof mirror. Even a bit bulky for leaving around the house/bathroom. Good starter for people like me who have nothing for beard/facial hair grooming. Every other brand out there is made by Loki. =P_

Great Starter Kit, AWESOME Customer Service!!
So I got one of those big box store starter sets for Christmas when I decided to let my Goatee grow into a full beard and the only good thing about it was the canvas bag that it came in was perfect to hold other stuff! Wish I’d found this sooner, the comb and brush are excellent, the comb teeth have rounded edges so don’t scratch and gouge your skin the brush works great and bristles stay intact. The beard oil in a eye dropper bottle is great and gives you the ability to get the oil close to the root and work it the length of the hair as opposed to slathering the oil all over the top layer of hair. The beard balm is refreshing and has a great scent, (can’t wait to try the variety pack with other scents) It’s manageable and easy to get a dollop out of the can unlike others where the stuff is like candle wax and hard as hell to work into your beard. Best of all this company is Customer Focused!!They sent an email after my order was placed thanking me for the purchase, an email when item shipped, and when they were notified of delivery to make sure it arrived on time and without any damage, problems etc. The product description stated a “free ebook” was included, when I followed the instructions provided to get it and nothing happened after a day or so I messaged them to ask what I did wrong and within about 30 minutes had a response and a link to the ebook which worked flawlessly. I am definitely a repeat customer and Highly recommend this seller!!

Great gift for your Low maintenance man!
My boyfriend is not one of the most “self care” kind of men. This was sort of an easy introduction to giving himself a bit of thought and kindness.First the kit comes in a very nice quality box, with a hinge lid (he really loves that) and there are three types of combs in there for versatile hair care. A big bristley beard brush, a regular double sided wooden comb (which I can also use to comb the hair on his head for him) and a tiny black comb for his mustache I assume.They rinse off easily and are nice high quality. He even said that he feels like his beard is less dry and itchy!The star of the show I think has to be the beard balm, it works wonderfully and straightens out his beard hair. He has very sensitive skin so the fact that it doesn’t give him a reaction is a god send. (When I say sensitive, I mean he reacts to UNSCENTED lotion for his arms and various dish soaps-very sensitive and reactive skin)He even likes the light lemony scent of the balm.We haven’t tried the beard oil since it has a warning for sensitive skin on it so it made us a bit leery.Also it comes with a nice sharp pair of small scissors that could be used for basically any trimming! It could be used for trimming the mustache, eyebrows, etc, so very versatile and sturdy with a comfortable hand shape.If you have a man who needs an introduction into giving himself a little TLC I think this is the perfect gift for him. (And he liked the viking design which I thought was super cute) Plus this could be a little couples moment for you guys, he lets me massage the beard balm into his face and use the different combs on his beard and hair while he lays in my lap.❤️❤️❤️ 10/10

I’m new to the beard community. I have a large beard already so I was looked around at other products but I was looking for a start kit since I did know what to look for. For the price I thought let give it a try. So far I can’t complain. The metal tin is a nice touch to keep everything nice and organized. So far I have issues the beard oil and brush. I like the oil, it’s nice and lite. I don’t like really oily things which worked out great. The balm has a nice citrus scent which I will try when I want to style my beard. The brush has some stiffness to it, but not so much it pulls on your beard.
