thin and flimsy
i bought it for the outdoor sofas to keep strays off my furniture. It worked sometimes, if it wasn’t blown off by the wind. Needed weights to keep it down.. was a pain to keep taking on and off, folding carefully, trying not to rip it.

The Truth!!
This product is a joke! It does NOT deter dogs from jumping on the couch, nor does the sound stop them from going through to the other side! I wish I never would have fallen for this.

Cat Pees On It
So much for a deterrent.. our cat pees on it and has put holes on the cheap silver side. The only good thing about it is it has saved our couch from being peed on, as the urine didn’t soak through.

The only reason it will keep my cat off the furniture is because there’s a thin layer between them and the furniture As they lay on it. But my cat’s are city girls so maybe they’re just built differentðð

Works for Some Pets, But Not All
This pet deterrent mat is a bit of a mixed bag. It kind of worksâmy two larger dogs are deterred by it, but my two small dogs don’t seem to mind it at all. The mat does make an annoying sound thatâs supposed to keep pets away, but itâs not as effective as I hoped, especially for smaller breeds. Itâs also not the most attractive thing to look at, so it doesnât blend well with the furniture. I imagine it might work better for cats, but for my dogs, itâs only somewhat effective. If youâre looking for something to keep larger pets off the couch, it might do the trick, but donât expect miracles.
