Breakfast favorite
Delivery was fast, product arrived well packaged and in good condition. Although it is less expensive directly from Hmr on my plan, it takes longer to get it. The quality is good and the taste and portion size are perfect for me for breakfast (eI canât do the number of shakes recommended/encouraged). Itâs filling and kind of like sausage and gravy with potatoes instead of biscuits. I will continue ordering while on this diet plan and recommend it, although everyoneâs tastes differ.

I am following the HMR diet on my own at home. It worked well for me a few years ago and it’s already showing results this time too. This sausage and potato dish is a new addition to their line of foods and helps to give some variety to their breakfast cereal product. This morning was my first time to eat this, and it was very tasty. I’m looking forward to enjoying more of it in a day or two.

Sausage Gravy
I have used HMR for over 20 years because of the serving size and value, so when I saw âsausage gravyâ for a new product I was all in! It reminds me of a less dense country-style gravy. The sausage bits are in perfect proportions to the cubed potatoes. The flavor isnât overwhelmed by any of the seasoning. It is the perfect meal option for cold weather. I recommend that you try it!

Tastes like chemicals.
I understand HMR is going out of business, for which Iâm sorry. The portion-controlled meals are convenient and helpful if youâre trying to control calorie intake. And many of the available entrees taste pretty good.The Sausage and Potatoes in Gravy, however, is an exception. As in âexceptionally bad.â Iâve recommended HMR entrees many times over the years. Theyâve helped me lose nearly 90 pounds and, I suspect, extend my lifespan by helping to control diabetes. But this particular entree is so bad I wouldnât be surprised if it is single-handedly responsible for putting the firm out of business!
