We first tried these when hiking with our son (up some steep inclines) in the mountains. The surprising thing for me was that I didnât need to have my water handy when taking them. I expected for some reason that they would to make my mouth dry when chewing on them, but the opposite occurred! I like the watermelon flavor, itâs pleasant and refreshing. It was a hot day when we we hiking and I was tired, but after taking a couple of these fast-chews, I felt like my energy was restored and I was ready for the hike down. I also like that these are made here in the USA so the ingredients will meet American standards.

I like the chewable option because you don’t always have time to drink a bottle of water with the powder options. These taste really good, so far I’ve tried the raspberry and the coconut pineapple flavors. Good for hydration.

2 tablets only contain 100mg sodium, 30mg potassium, 10mg calcium, and 6mg magnesium. So one dose for me is 10 tablets for 1000mg sodium. That means I pay $18 for SIX DOSES in the bottle!! Not a good value at all. Great taste, dissolves on your tongue great. No issues with nausea. If I take the entire 10 tablets I need for one dose, it works well. But since my Cardiologist wants me consuming 4,000-6,000mg sodium daily, this product just doesn’t have enough electrolytes for my daily needs; more a salty candy than anything else. No pain relief other than maybe muscle cramp and migraine prevention if consuming enough tablets, MAYBE.
