Thought they would hold a dozen regular size novels, and they do, but with some slippage. Nice looking.

Great for a modern aesthetic but looks best on a larger display service. Not ideal for a tall dresser or narrow shelf.

The material is described as ceramic and marble, which is misleading as there is no marble at all. The paint is uneven and looks cheap. These bookends donât even give off a marble vibe. They are lighter than I expected.

Sturdy book ends that look stylish
I’m very happy with these book ends. They have a good amount of style to them while also having that classic look so you don’t worry that these will look stupid in 5 years. Good weight to them and able to hold up a normal amount of books. Nice felt on the bottoms that give some grip but more importantly protect from scratching what you put these on.

Nice book shelf blocks
It looks nice with just enough weight to perform what it was designed for, to hold up books. Love the unique design. It isnât for anywhere but you know when it fits the decor. You can also adorn little items on it as well.

Look nice
Modern yet classic looking at the same time. These are heavy, sturdy, yet not too bulky. I have very thick coffee table books, and these held them upright with no slipping. Good quality, great product.

Lightweight but alright to have the look!
I was also under the impression these were going to be a heavier marble, I think it’d help if they were at least solid ceramic but they are hollow. There are holes on the bottom, you could actually fill them with sand and seal them up in a pinch, but otherwise they are definitely more for decorative use than heavy duty as they’re fairly lightweight (but obviously heavier than plastic, being a ceramic shell)It’s a cute look overall, I’m not sure if the specks of what look like brown dirt/debris are usual/intentional but it doesn’t detract much from the look as I’d display these farther away on a shelf type deal.I think fairish price for the look, at a distance without handling them they give a glossy marble impression overall.

Cute modern bookends
I like the shape of these. I think it would be a nice item if it were heavier, my bigger cookbooks are too heavy to load up between these. Also, with the very modern shape I think a matt white finish makes more sense than the shiny marbilized finish these have, which reads more traditional.
