My second Day Hiking Pack
I have already a day hiking pack similar to this one, and for the quality and cost of this one, i must say i am very impressed with the quality and how much it can hold and carry, and it is very comfortable and easy to adjust for short or tall people. Great shoulder straps, and the back cushions are very ergonomic and comfortable, and helps with sweating o your back causing it less perspiration so the pack will not stick so closely to your body when climbing or hiking up steep trails. This is perfect as my secondary pack for when i want to camp out at night; use this pack for my sleeping bag and tent; clothes on my back, my cooking and first aide supplies fits all perfectly, so if i decide to camp, i can switch out this pack for an overnight camping, and great cost for this quality pack. I casually hike and camp monthly so this works best for me.

Comfortable with many useful bits
This is the best value-for-dollar in backpacks I’ve seen. It fits reasonably well and sits properly on my hips. The torso length is not adjustable, though there are load adjustment straps that help. There are three items I think they should consider (and why 4 stars): 1) the hip strap pad is insufficiently small – would be better if it were a thicker pad, 3 inches longer, and another inch taller ; 2) the brain flap straps interfer with water bottle access; 3) The bottom has two loops at both of the outside corners, none on the inside corners – a loop at each corner would be more useful (molle straps would be even better). The small size of the bottom straps implies only the lightest of items can be strapped there (like a foam sleeping pad). The ability to attach tall cylinder-type objects (chair, tent, sleeping pad) along the sides works reasonably well. However, the object can cover or obstruct the access to the water bottle pouch. But not a big deal – just carefully consider how you attach the (small diameter) object, or, don’t expect to access the side pouches while on the move. Overall, the backpack appears to be well constructed with durable materials though I would hesitate to do longer thru-hikes with it – I don’t have any trail-time with it so I don’t know it’s durability. It’s a superb pack for the money and I would heartily recommend it as a budget backpack.
