Love this Roman chair
For the price, the quality is good so therefore this is definitely a value item. Iâm able to stretch and strengthen my back, Iâm 5â6â and have it on the shortest setting, I wish the cushion was a bit firmer and provide a bit more padding. But for the few minutes I use it, itâs ok. I had another one before and it was more sturdy and the cushion was better, but it was too long for me and thatâs why I decided to buy this one. I think itâs a good piece for the home gym.

A must have for any home gym
I use this for my core and lower back! This is one of the best exercise equipment to strengthen your core and lower back. Very affordable and a must have.

Structure well built. Cushion subpar.
Works as expected. Everything is well made except for the cushions. They are not the most comfortable and after a couple of sessions I could feel my hips were bruising. I put a towel over them and that helped a great deal. Iâm 6â5â and this product accommodates me very well. Though I donât think it would fit someone past 6â7â. It adjusts up and down with relative ease and can accommodate someone around 5â0â too. Iâve struggled with back pain for almost 8 years and this product has helped me to manage my pain in a different way. Very impressed with my results so far.

Design
I like the square frame sturdiness but encountered several problems. The pads are mounted using four Phillips bolts M06x15mm in size. When I tried to mount the pads I discovered that the holes drilled in the frame were larger than the diameter of the bolts. There are no washers included for these bolts. I bought washers to be able to mount the pads.Using the bench I discovered that the pads are very uncomfortable. I used towels for extra paddingThere are two holes in the post for mounting the foam roll that goes behind the calf. The foot support has one set of holes for mounting. I tried both positions for the foam roll but my shoes would not fit on the foot support. I am 6’2″and wear size 12 shoes. The post for the foam roll needs to be two inches longer to allow a third location for the foam roll or another set of holes needs to drilled in the post for the foot support to allow adjustment. The least expensive option was drilling holes for the foot support. I don’t have a drill press and to ensure proper alignment I took the bench to a machine shop and had the holes drilled at a cost of $65. With the new mounting holes I am now able to keep my shoes on the foot support.I considered sending the unit back before taking the bench to the machine shop. I had read all reviews for hyperextension benches in this price category and didn’t think I would be able to get anything better so I opted to keep the unit.If you are considering purchasing and are in my size range be aware.
