How does the Plantar Fasciitis Sock work?

The Plantar fasciitis sock when worn overnight helps prevent the plantar fascia and calf muscle from tightening up. So, when you walk the following day the fascia does not pull as hard at the point of attachment to the heel. As a result, you have less inflammation, degeneration, and pain.

You don’t need to wear it all night to begin with. Start with a couple of hours and build up gradually if you find it easier.

    Works!
Wearing this takes some getting used to, but it does work and provides relief. I’ve struggled with plantar fasciitis over the years and am glad I have found this as it makes a big difference. It was a little uncomfortable and awkward to wear. I don’t like having anything on my feet at night, plus having the foot kept in that position makes it more challenging to roll over. The first night was the worse, but it definitely got better over time. It puts pressure in the toes and toe nails, so I recommend trimming the nails before the first use.Provided relief after first use. Was able to get up in the morning without heel pain! The strap that flexes the foot is adjustable, so after a few wearings I was able to determine what amount of flex would still provide enough stretch without too much discomfort from wearing the brace. I recommend going easy on the flex and finding that sweet spot that just provides enough to give relief.Overall, I highly recommend.Note on the massage ball: The image makes it look like it’s the size of a tennis ball. It’s closer to the size of a golf ball and is in the box. I initially thought it was missing.

    Getting used to it
I ordered this plantar fasciitis night splint sock from Amazon Vine, and I have been wearing it during the night for a few days. The sock itself is pretty lightweight, and the material feels soft enough that it does not irritate my skin when I sleep. It wraps around the foot and ankle snugly, but not so tight that it feels restrictive, and the straps are adjustable so I can make it fit just right.Putting it on at night takes a bit of getting used to, as the design feels slightly bulky around the ankle, but it stays in place pretty well while I sleep. It feels like it keeps my foot in a slightly more stretched position, which was a bit odd at first, but after a couple of nights, I barely noticed it anymore. Overall, it seems to do what it is supposed to, and I am starting to get used to the feel of it.

    comfortable to wear
Awesome fit great and support is unbelievable, specially with it being so light weight. I have had trouble with my left foot for several months. I have tried other foot supports and they are bulky and uncomfortable. I put on this splint sock and found that is is very thin and lightweight yet very supportive. I wear it all night long and forget that I’m even wearing it. My foot feels much better when I’m wearing it.

    Helps Foot Pain!
The soft fabric feels so cozy, I actually look forward to putting it on before bed. That little massage ball is genius – I love rolling out the tension in my arch while I’m relaxing on the couch. The best part is waking up without that awful first-step pain. It’s like my foot gets a mini spa treatment while I sleep! I was skeptical about how much it would help, but wow, what a difference. My morning shuffle has turned into a confident stride. The adjustable straps make it easy to get just the right fit. And unlike those clunky boots, I can actually move around if I need to get up at night. It did take a couple nights to get used to, but now it’s just part of my bedtime routine.

    Good, Not Great
I have worn this for almost a week now, and although it has helped my plantar fasciitis pain a little, I have yet to make it through a full night wearing it. The strap hurts my toes so much that I need to take it off sometimes within an hour of putting it in. It’s also made from cheap neoprene material so it slides down my ankle.

    Comfortable and adjustable splint socks
I’ve been using these splint socks for a while, and they work great. They help ease the discomfort in the soles of my feet. The material is high-quality—breathable and stretchy—so they’re comfy to wear and don’t feel hot. They fit snugly, and the stretch bands help relax the soles, relieving a lot of pressure. You can adjust the bands to fit how you like, and they’re good at stretching the plantar fascia. When I wake up, my feet feel much better.

Reduces foot pain from Plantar Fasciitis
I get occasional foot pain in my RH foot especially if I have been standing on concrete without my arch supports , which leads to Plantar Fasciitis which at times can be extremely painful, so I thought I would try this sock.Putting the sock on is pretty easy , slip your foot in and adjust the heel strap , secure the ankle cuff and then adjust the tension strap to your desired level of therapy.Having worn it now for three (3) night in bed I can say that night one (1) my foot had some aching as the sock stretched, worked and pulled the foot , this went away and I slept just fine , woke up the following day with a noticeable improvement , the following night I had less aching during wear , but also less foot pain the following day , with night three (3) continuing the trend of improvementSo for me I got the most impact the first night and then steady improvement , so I’ll decide how many more nights I need it , but will make sure I travel with the sock in my bag so should I get a flare up I have it to help with stretch therapy …

    Comfortable to wear for hours
I’ve tried this for a few days. It’s not uncomfortable at all. It has an ergonomic design to help pull the forefoot and stretch the foot. It’s made with smooth and soft material, especial for the underfoot side. The fabric is elastic and breathable. I don’t feel much difference than wearing normal socks. I am able to walk around and do some housekeeping while wearing it at home. The strap is adjustable and locks the position firmly. It conformably distributes the tension on the ankle. I don’t feel too much tightness. It’s super easy to put it on and take it off. I can do it with one hand. I am glad that it is also washable.
