This is a very good product that i would highly recommend if fact I bought and extra one for my mother and she loves it too. This product seems to do what it says is does. I placed the product dispenser in a covered container with a few bananas and it has kept them reasonably fresh for several days. It seems to be working fine so far.

I have been using this for about a month, so far. It appears that it is prolonging the life and freshness of my produce and food. We live in the desert and we have had extremely hot temperatures. It’s a challenge to get the food home from the grocery store! We have a garage fridge to store extra produce, potatoes, onions,etc. So, I placed a Blueapple on one of the shelves in that fridge. In the kitchen fridge, I placed one in the produce drawer. I am anxious to get the potatoes and onions out of the refrigerator but for now that is the only way to preserve them. Everything is remaining nice and fresh- nothing is wilting. I am pleased with this product and I highly recommend.

Keep stored Bananas fresh 7 days or more
I must a have a nice firm yellow banana ready to eat 7 days of the week and only shop once. I have been experimenting with various methods for months. The Blue apple IS the SECOND-2nd MOST IMPORTANT method needed to slow ripening. FIRST is keep them COOL 2nd removed or reduce ethanol gas from storage area – This is what the blue apple does. Before the BLUE Apple I had only managed to keep them bright yellow firm skin for 5 days of storage. 3rd. wrap each stem individually 4th store with stems in the opposite direction of growth (cut stem up), 4th store in semi-closed cooled container (lid slightly open to release gas rapidly) 5th do not stack, prevent sides from touching each other OKK #2 – the BLUE APPLE .. added 2-3 days and kept skins firm right to the last day of use.. It will probably keep them even longer but I only need 7 days for near perfection

WOW! These drastically extend the life of your produce. I had a bunch of romaine lettuce in my crisper that I purchased about 1 day before my blue apples arrived. That romaine lasted for 2 weeks. I was shocked. I had no idea about the ethylene gas secreted by refrigerators until recently. This is well worth your money.
