Survival Pack Essential
The setup is simple enough. You basically attach the filter to a water source like a stream or lake and use the hand pump to push the water through. The filtered water comes out of a separate spout, and you can drink it directly or collect it in a container. This is super useful when out in the wilderness and great tool to have when hiking or camping. It is easy to clean, easy to use, and a good value for the money.

Easy to pump
This compact and lightweight water purifier is easy to store in a small bag without taking up much space. We always bring it along when hiking or camping. Itâs simple to set up; assemble the tubes correctly, tighten the filter, and use the pump to draw water. The filtration and pumping speed are the same, and the water intake hose is weighted, so it sinks into the river. We use it to collect water for cleaning and other uses while camping. The water it produces is clean, with no impurities at the container’s bottom. But it requires patience since you need to pump water manually, but overall, I think it works well and is portable.

Really cool little tool
This is a really cool little tool. Not only does it filter water it also has tweezers and a little saw built into the bottom and a compass on the top. It is very light and portable and I am adding it to my hurricane kit as a backup. I tested it out and it pushes a lot of water through pretty quick. Plus it was easy to take apart to clean and let dry.

Extra survival items
Love it. It comes with a compass, fire flint and stick. Just love the extras. Still can’t give you a full review, cause I haven’t tried the water filter just yet.

I ordered two of them and they were both missing pieces
I want to give this a good review because it came right away, but I ordered one for New York and one for Florida and both of them were missing pieces. I donât think itâs an item thatâs easily cleaned either because of all the tubes. I ended up getting two Cups that you pour the water into and then press down and it filters. There are no tubes involved and the large cups came with all the pieces.

It works
I got this in and had to try it right away so I went out back and made a mud concoction. I stuck the little hose in and started pumping. The water came out clean. Not too clear, a bit cloudy but I then took that cloudy water and pumped it again and this time it came out way better. So I tasted it. Results: if youâre not in an emergency situation where you need to drink the water right away, boil it. Not because of it being dirty because it wonât be but because of taste. Itâll have a little aftertaste but it wonât kill you and itâs not enough to make you gag or anything.
All in all, Iâd take it with me hiking, camping, etc. to use if I needed it.
