Great Quality!
I actually bought these to use for planters. I have used galvanized drink tubs in the past for planters & really liked them–in fact, when we were selling our last house, I had a series of them on our huge back porch, and the buyers asked if they could keep one. I’ll be drilling drainage holes in the bottom, and since these will be used inside, I’ll put them on plant stands over the big plastic or rubber boot trays to collect any drips. These aren’t as big as the ones I used before, but they have a nice weight to them, and I think they’ll be perfect for my needs. Definitely recommended!

very nice – medium weight
While not as heavy as a galvanized farm bucket, these are a nice medium weight and perfect for holding kindling next to our little wood stove! The finish is shiny but not glaring, and the handles seem sturdy as well. I plan to use the second to hold a couple of bottles of wine on ice when guests come for dinner, and wouldn’t hesitate to fill one with drinks and the other with snacks to take to a picnic or barbecue next spring.

Smaller than I expected
These tubs are nice for what they are. But I expected two 4-gallon buckets. These are probably 2 gallons each tops. Together they can hold several drinks, but not nearly as much as I’d hoped.

Holds water and doesn’t leak. On the thinner side
These metal tubs are smaller than expected and the metal is a bit thin, but it works. It can only hold about 10-12 cans of soda with ice before the it overflows or runs out of room to cover everything with ice. I filled it up to the brim with water and it held without leaking. The finish is clean and smooth and there aren’t any sharp protruding edges on the metal tub. The carrying handle held up to the weight of the entire tub filled with water.

These containers are built with good quality material. I love the design. We used it for our soup party, and it held quite a few cans of sodas and water and kept them cool.

Great Galvanized Tubs!
I have other ones and while you may use them for ice they will sweat. I prefer to use them for snacks or however you can use to help organize your kitchen.I love having snacks available for the kids to grab on their own or to set out for a party. You can easily put drinks or fruit in these tubs⦠the ideas are endless really.These look great and would make a nice addition to any home or party!

A lot smaller than expected
These tubs are a lot smaller and look a little cheaper than expected. They will work for kid drinks at parties or extra ice, but will only fit 8-10 drinks max with no ice.
